Co-founder and CEO of Pony.ai
Peng holds a BS from Tsinghua University, an MS from the University of Buffalo and a PhD from Stanford University. He worked at Google for seven years, specializing in back-end and front-end advertising systems. In 2012, invited by Wang Jing, senior vice president of Baidu, Peng became one of the earliest members of Baidu Research US. In 2015, he was promoted to chief architect in charge of R&D of autonomous driving. At the end of 2016, Peng left Baidu and co-founded Pony.ai.
