Responsibilities
- Maintain CMS platform
- Build web services and web applications using primarily PHP and Laravel
- Create website layout and UI by using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Provide operational helpdesk support to users
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of web applications as assigned.
- Address system bugs and other operational issues
- Understand, troubleshoot and solution interfaces from Laravel CMS
- Participate in software system development and deployment
- Apply software design pattern and agile development process to produce maintainable and easy to extend code
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3 to 5 years of Software Development experience
- Highly familiar with PHP Laravel or Wordpress.
- Experience with git workflow and unit testing
- Experience with site optimization
- Understand and practice known PHP coding practice
- Experienced with SQL database and ElasticSearch is a must
- Creative thinking and problem solver
- JS framework Vuejs is a must
- Experienced with Trello, Slack, Youtrack
- Experienced with Git, Gitlab
- Experienced with SEO, Structured Data, Social Media Tags and AMP
- Good knowledge of REST APIs using HTTP client.
- Build efficient, scalable, reusable PHP modules, APIs and web applications
- Maintaining existing systems and troubleshooting production issues
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
- Write scalable high-performance code that works in multiple unique environments on-premise as well as on the cloud
- 2 years minimum of experience
- Must be comfortable to take ownership of task, projects
The selected applicants will work closely with the IT team and the rest of the CompassList team from across Asia, Europe and the US, and attend online team meetings when required.
