Upon graduating from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in Mechanics, Alex Gu joined National Instruments, where he worked on data collection, signal processing, instrument testing and system integration. He started developing rehab robots in 2009 and founded Jinghe Robot in 2012. The startup, developer of rehab robot Flexbot, was acquired by rehab device manufacturer QJ Rehab in 2015. Gu founded Fourier Intelligence in July 2015 and has served as CEO ever since.

With a degree in Mechanics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Xu Zhenhua has over 10 years of experience in robotics R&D. He previously worked as a senior R&D engineer at FANUC Robotics and the Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center, a joint venture between General Motors and SAIC Motor. Xu and Alex Gu co-founded Jinghe Robot in 2012 and Fourier Intelligence in 2015. Xu served as CTO at Fourier Intelligence from 2015 to 2018, at which time he left to found new exoskeleton startup ULS Robotics.

Zheng Weihe (Alex Zheng) and his wife Li Huang started Cowin Capital, one of China's earliest private equity funds, in 2000 with RMB 80 million of their own money, investing in six companies within a year. Today, it has more than RMB 10 billion in assets under management, across six PE funds. It has invested in over 150 companies to date, with 57 successful exits, including 27 IPOs – earning Zheng the moniker "The Marksman".

42CAP is a German VC fund established in 2016 for seed and early-stage investments in European startups. Alex Meyer and Thomas Wilke, both founders of eCircle, one of Europe’s largest SaaS companies that was sold to Teradata in 2012, are co-founders and partners of 42CAP. They have taken advantage of 42CAP’s success to invest in international AI-powered startups.
