Founded by Wu Yongming, a co-founder of Alibaba, and Wang Qi in 2015. With nearly RMB 2 billion under management, Vision Plus Capital invests in startups mainly in their Series A and Series B financing rounds.

Born in 1987, Lu tried to start his first business while he was still studying for his bachelor's in Vehicle Engineering at Shenyang Ligong University. After graduating in 2010, he joined 24 quan, a group-buying startup, and was eventually put in charge of its marketing department. Lu joined Baidu in 2011 as product manager and was later promoted to channel manager. In 2013, Lu joined Edaixi, an O2O laundry service startup, as founding partner and CEO. He received his MBA from China Europe International Business School in 2016 and subsequently resigned from Edaixi. In 2018, he founded Kuaipeilian.

Serial entrepreneur Lu Tong is co-founder of college social networking app Shixiongbangbangmang, microcredit processing platform Shuaidanbao and a luxury brand leasing venture.

A serial entrepreneur, Lu is the founder of car rental company CAR Inc. He is also chairman and founding CEO of car services provider UCAR. In 2003, he founded Beijing Huaxia United Technology Co Ltd, a company that now controls around 67% of China Telecom’s VOIP business in Beijing. In 1995, Lu founded DITEL Technology, a trading company for telecom equipment and supplier of system integration services. He received his bachelor's degree in Industrial Electric Automation from the University of Science & Technology of Beijing and his EMBA from Peking University.

Founded by Chen Xiaohong, Tiger Global's former China managing partner, H Capital is a venture capital firm focused on China internet firms. The team also includes DCM co-founder Lu Rong (Ruby Lu).

Co-founder and CTO of Trio.AI. Qi has worked in the field of Natural Language Processing since 2004. After graduating with a master’s in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology Liaoning in 2007, he worked at Alibaba, Tencent, Microsoft and Baidu.As a technology initiator, he helped with the development of Microsoft’s chatbot XiaoIce in 2014 and Baidu’s Xiaodu robot in 2015.

Born in 1982, Chen Qi graduated from Wuhan University with a bachelor’s degree in Remote Sensing in 2005, the same year as fellow alumnus Gong Huaze. Both became co-founders of McFly, with Chen as COO in December 2016.After graduation, Chen moved to Beijing and worked at NavInfo, a digital map supplier under the state-owned China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC). He also earned a master’s in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing at Wuhan University while working at NavInfo. In 2013, he worked at Alibaba Mobile Business Group as a product manager until he left to establish agtech startup McFly.

A former Alibaba and Dianping top executive, Lu Xin (b. 1981) is a mother of two. She headed Chinese product operations at Alibaba before joining China’s largest restaurant review site Dianping as its chief traffic officer in early 2010. In January 2015, she quit and left behind her annual million-dollar salary to start Nanguache, her second business venture.

XY Capital was co-founded in Hangzhou in April 2018 by former Alibaba CEO Lu Zhaoxi and Tang Yun, a former government official in Hangzhou with a PhD in Computer Science from Tsinghua University. The company set up an RMB investment fund in June 2018 and invests mainly in early-stage tech startups. 

Another “haigui” (Chinese overseas returnee), Ben Luk (or Lu Yunsheng) had worked at Microsoft and Oracle before joining Google in 2003. At Google, he held different positions in the US global headquarters, and the Beijing and HK offices. Luk led the development of Google Maps APAC. He holds a BS in Computer Science, Cornell University; and an MS in Computer Engineering, Stanford University. 

Sofia Lu graduated in Information Technology in 2012 at Bina Nusantara University. She has also worked as a teaching assistant and researcher at the university during her degree course. In July 2013, she joined online travel agency as a lead developer. In 2015, her passion for books eventually led her to become the CTO and co-founder of Storial, a digital storytelling portal for writers.

Qinghan Fund was founded in 2017 by Crystal Stream, New Hope Group and Chinese celebrity Lu Han. Its largest shareholder is Wang Mengqiu, former vice president of Baidu. Qinghan Fund invests primarily in teams (e.g., small groups of people running a WeChat Official Account) that create professionally generated content, media and platforms which cater to the next generation's lifestyle and consumption upgrade needs.

Shenzhen-listed Oceanwide Holdings is part of the China Oceanwide empire founded and controlled by Lu Zhiqiang, one of China’s wealthiest billionaires. Oceanwide is also the founding and controlling shareholder of Minsheng Bank, the first private sector-backed commercial bank in China, and the third-largest shareholder of Legend Holdings, the investment group behind Lenovo. Its interests span globally across financial services, energy, culture and media, and real estate. 

Antonio Lu Lee is one of the co-founders of OnTruck, an innovation-oriented logistics company that optimizes road freight transportation through technology. Whilst there, he managed the company’s business development and its fleet community until March 2018. He previously worked in shipping and logistics in Hanjin Shipping. He has also worked in a seafood company and in oil and gas ship brokerage. He holds a master's in Value Investing and Cycle Theory from Madrid's Manuel Ayau Online Center. 

Luís Martins is the Brazilian co-founder and CTO of facilities management and maintenance platform Infraspeak, where he has worked since its founding in 2015. Prior to that, he spent more than two years of his free time on the platform's development while working as a civil engineer at the University of Porto's Science and Technology Park (UPTEC) and as a software designer at local IT company Avac Piquet. He also conducted research and studied at the University of Porto's Engineering Faculty, where he designed facility management software for its 16 buildings. He holds a master's in Engineering and Civil Engineering.
