He studied foreign relations at the University of California, Berkeley. His most famous deal to date is his US$250,000 investment in Unitech in the early 1990s, which later became UTStarcom. The company went public in 2000, reaching a post-IPO value of over US$5 billion. He was also chairman of 8848.com (the earliest Chinese e-commerce network). Xue has invested in many internet startups in China, including PCPOP, Autohome, Xueqiu, CreatyChina, Community001 and 265.com (bought by Google).

Alejandro Hernandez has a master's in Computer Vision and a degree in Telecoms Engineering, both from King Juan Carlos University in Madrid. He is an advisor and co-founder of Alias Robotics in Spain. He is also employed as the CTO and Head of Engineering at Acutronic Robotics in Vitoria, Basque Country in Spain. He has previously worked as the Head of Software and as a software engineer at Erle Robotics and DTA, respectively. Erle was run by the Mayoral Vilches brothers until 2016 when it was sold to Acutronic that is now run by Victor Mayoral Vilches.

He started his sales career at Euro Sports Media and deVere Group. Synge was the head of sales at food-delivery startup Degustabox before joining Eliport as co-founder and director of partnerships. He and co-founder Dmitry Skorinko created Eliport to solve the last-mile delivery problem by using autonomous delivery robots in local neighborhoods. Since March 2019, Synge has also joined Alias Robotics as VP for sales.
