Founded in 2010, People.cn Co., Ltd., publishes online news in China and abroad. Its information exchange platform People.cn is the online portal of the People's Daily, the Chinese Communist Party’s official newspaper. It was listed on China's A-share market in 2012. The company makes investments in early-stage media startups.

Haier Group Corporation is a Chinese consumer electronics and home appliances company headquartered in Qingdao, Shandong province. It started as a refrigerator manufacturer in 1984 and has become the world's largest producer of major home appliances, with more than 10% of global market share. Now Haier is focusing on offering smart home solutions to customers.

Based in the Netherlands, Prosus is a global investor in consumer tech and Internet companies. It is a subsidiary of South African tech investment company Naspers. In August 2021 the two companies completed a cross-holding agreement in which Naspers owns 57% of Prosus while Prosus owns 49% of Naspers. The two companies share a single board.Prosus is the largest shareholder in Chinese tech giant Tencent and Russian tech platform Mail.ru. In Indonesia, it has invested in Bibit, a stock and mutual funds investment platform, as well as fishery trading and community development startup Aruna. Founded in 2015, Mandiri Capital Indonesia (MCI) is the venture capital arm of Bank Mandiri, Indonesia’s largest bank. Seed Capital Bizkaia is a division the Department of Economic and Territorial Development of Bizkaia province. Created in 1991, the seed capital investment fund supports the growth of small businesses with established operations in Spain's Bizkaia region. The firm invests in startups from different business sectors in the form of participatory loans or by contributing up to €300,000, with share participation of up to 45%.

In 2005 he became its COO.  In 2006, he co-founded online travel site Tuniu with Yu Dunde, a friend from university, and worked as Tuniu's COO. In the third quarter of 2017,  Yan resigned from Tuniu after the company announced that it had made a profit for the first time. In November 2017, he co-founded Blackfish Technology and became its CEO.

Co-founder of VUE Vlog, Li Zaolu graduated from Beijing University of Technology in computer science although she was more interested in business management. Upon graduation, she worked in business development for Nokia, NetEase and Wandoujia. She was one of the founding partners of NetEase's Youdao dictionary. In Wandoujia, she led the business development team to bring in new users.  Some 700,000 new users started to use the app everyday compared to only 10,000 a day when she started. From 2014 to 2015, Wandoujia's business share was taken by tech giants. In 2016, Li Zaolu left Wandoujia and co-founded VUE.

Francesc Mora Sagués was the president of MoraBanc based in Andorra for 15 years. He was also the CEO of Morsa Group and adviser at property group Inmobiliaria Colonial. Since 2017, he has been a business angel, partner and founder of Kensington Capital SL, an investment firm headquartered in Andorra and focuses on emerging deep technology startups.   In June 2016, Andorra had the second largest number of electric vehicles in the Iberian peninsula. Andorra’s 6% market share of electric and hybrid vehicles was mainly due to the Principality’s strong public policy for renewable energy and eco-friendly transportation.

In September 2003, Chen Weixing started studying at the College of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Zhejiang University. The civil engineer founded the web game developer FunCity Inc during his third college year in August 2006. In June 2012, he launched the taxi app Kuaidadi in Hangzhou. In September 2012, he invested in Hangzhou Enniu Network Technology Co Ltd, the parent company of 51 Credit Card Manager, China's largest credit card service based on monthly active users. He also founded online insurance company Weiease Technology in April 2014. In May 2018, he launched the blockchain-based taxi app VV Share.

Squirrel AI CEO and co-founder Zhou Wei was formerly VP of Only Education International, a K12 educational institution. He was also the GM of Only Education’s strategic expansion department from 2010, growing its student base from 100,000 to 1m over three years, acquiring the biggest share of the children’s English education market in China and once had opened 600 institutions in one year. Prior to joining Only Education, Zhou worked at Avon Products as its GM in Shanghai, where he achieved a record RMB 500m in annual sales and won the Best Regional and Team-Lead Sales Performance title for four consecutive years .

Currently based in London, French national Pierre Yves Paslier completed a master’s in materials science and engineering from INSA in Lyon in 2010. In 2012, he went on to complete a master’s in industrial and product design at the Royal College of Art in London. He also studied innovation design engineering at Imperial College.After graduating in 2014, Paslier and university alumnus Rodrigo García González co-founded Skipping Rocks Lab that was pivoted as Notpla in 2019. Both are co-CEOs of the UK-based startup that develops compostable and edible packaging material made of seaweed and other plants.Before becoming an entrepreneur, Paslier worked as a packaging engineer for L’Oréal from 2010 to 2012. He has been invited to speak at TEDx conferences in Athens and Warwick to share his experience and innovative projects in packaging and product design. In 2020, he became an industrial advisory board member at Imperial College London Dyson School of Design Engineering. In 2019, he also became a fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Hub.
