In 2016, he moved to Indonesia and met Manggala Ratulangie when the two were hired to head a joint venture. After the project wound down, they established data science startup Datanest in 2017.

In 2014, he joined Sony Indonesia, managing the company's portable audio product sales, before moving to Go-Jek in 2017 to head up the company's growth experiments in Go-Tix and Go-Pay. Dimas and former Go-Jek colleague Wisnu Nugrahadi established gig marketplace app Sampingan in 2018.

He is now based in Singapore as the regional head of digital marketing for HOOQ, a video-on-demand service, in November 2016. HOOQ is a joint venture comprising Singtel, Sony Pictures and Warner Brothers with offices in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and India. He had briefly joined Valuklik as co-founder and managing director, before moving to Ensogo as its regional Head of Marketing for Southeast Asia and Hong Kong until October 2016.
