Puxin Fintech Fund was co-launched by Shanghai Pudong Development Bank and Shanghai Trust in late October 2019. Operated by Puxin Capital, a subsidiary of Shanghai Trust, the fund mainly invests in fintech startups. 

Yan became interested in agriculture while working as a venture capitalist at Pingan Trust, the trust unit of Ping An Insurance, from 2010 to 2014. Pedro Lourenço is the Portuguese co-founder and CEO of Consumers Trust, the company behind consumer complaints platform Portal da Queixa, founded in 2009. Since 2019, he has also been European Consumer Rights Ambassador at the European Commission, a position he was selected for thanks to his work at Consumers Trust. He is also co-founder and CEO at digital agency Megaklique Multimedia, and until 2015 was a co-founder of creative and innovation association Mexe-te. He holds a degree in Graphic Design, lives in Porto and is married to Consumers Trust co-founder Sónia Lage Lourenço.

Vítor Vilela is the Portuguese co-founder and CTO of Consumers Trust, the company behind consumer complaints platform Portal da Queixa, founded in 2009. With a background in I.T., Vitela has worked at at Consumers Trust since 2012, where he started as Full Stack Developer. He also worked at digital agency Megaklique Multimedia from 2010 until 2016. Previously worked as an Educator at electricity company EDP. He lives in Porto.

The Woodford Patient Capital Trust is part of the larger group Woodford Funds. The company is based in Oxford and was formed in 2014, headed by veteran fund manager Neil Woodford. The Patient Capital Trust focuses on early- and early-growth-stage companies, with target returns of more than 10% yearly. The bulk of their portfolio comprises healthcare companies. 

Augmentum Capital was formed in 2009 by Tim Levene and Richard Matthews, with the backing of RIT Capital Partners, the investment trust chaired by Lord Rothschild (whose family owns 18% of the trust). Based in London, the investment firm focuses on fast-growing fintech companies in the UK and Europe, typically supporting Series A and Series B funding rounds.

She previously worked for 15 years as Brand Manager at fashion brand Decenio. She lives in Porto.

Wang is a computer engineer and SaaS expert. He received his bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Zhejiang University and his master’s degree in Computer Science from Columbia University. He once worked as an in-house engineer for WorkMarket, an American startup that businesses of all sizes trust to find, manage and pay their freelancers and independent contractors.

STI Financial Group is a Hong Kong-based investment firm. It specializes in hedge fund and private equity investments, managing the assets of clients through various investment instruments and structured products. The company also runs services to help clients set up trust funds for their heirs or family members.

Founded in 2012 by Wang Yawei, the former vice-president of China Asset Management and the founder of Top Ace Asset Management, Qianhe Capital provides asset management, equity investment and investment management services. As of April 2017, Qianhe Capital had RMB 24 billion under management and issued 11 trust plans and asset management plans.

Consumers Trust is the first company it has invested in not to have appeared on the television show.
