Shenzhen-listed Oceanwide Holdings is part of the China Oceanwide empire founded and controlled by Lu Zhiqiang, one of China’s wealthiest billionaires. Oceanwide is also the founding and controlling shareholder of Minsheng Bank, the first private sector-backed commercial bank in China, and the third-largest shareholder of Legend Holdings, the investment group behind Lenovo.
