Co-founder of Tradiio
Former journalist Miguel Leite had founded two businesses, Punch and FullFlex Interactive Media, before establishing Tradiio in 2014. The ex-label manager of Universal Music Portugal saw first-hand the challenges faced by emerging artists to make a living from their music. The music platform Tradiio aims to help artists sell their music directly to consumers via paid music downloads.Leite has a master’s in Business Communication from Barcelona's Pompeu Fabra University. Established in 2011, Shilling Capital Partners is a Portuguese angel investment fund and one of the three subsidiaries of Mogope, a Portuguese investment manager, whose partners are also co-founders of Shilling. To date, the company has invested in 18 startups, both tech and bricks-and-mortar, and has managed three exits, including BestTables that was acquired by TripAdvisor. It typically invests between €250,000 and €1m in seed and Series A rounds and ensures liquidity until the next funding round, or when the startup becomes capable of funding its own growth. Recent investments include petcare marketplace Barkyn, healthy meal service delivery app EatTasty and blockchain-based online betting application BetProtocol.

After graduating from the University of Porto in 2004, André Moniz worked as a software engineer at companies such as Indra, Montepio Geral and Optimus Telecommunications. In 2017, the fullstack developer and product manager joined Untold Ventures to make various apps. In 2018, he became the CTO and co-founder of BetProtocol, together with Tradiio's Miguel Leite.The serial entrepreneur worked as Tradiio's CTO before becoming the music platform's co-founder in 2014. Previous ventures include Portugal's first dating site, amiguinhos.com (2002), software company Blip.pt (2009), WeGoOut (2012) and music festival tourism business Get a Fest (2013).
