Co-Founder of Zhen Robotics
Co-founder of Zhen Robotics. Born in Hong Kong, he has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a master’s degree in Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management from Imperial College London. Prior to establishing online investment platform Bareksa, Ady Pangerang was the head of the IT department at the Indonesian branch of BNP Paribas. He later held a similar role at VIVA, an Indonesian online news and entertainment portal. Ady left VIVA in 2013 to focus on Bareksa, together with former VIVA colleague Karaniya Dharmasaputra. Ady holds a bachelor’s in Robotics from Ecole Centrale Nantes, France and a master’s in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University, USA.

Roy Petter Dyrdahl Torgersen studied maritime navigation at Austevoll Fagskule School and later nautical sciences at the University of Stord/Haugesund in Norway. With 12 years of experience in the petro-maritime, scientific research and underwater mining prospection sectors, Torgersen also holds a Class 1 navigation license and has been a captain in the Merchant Navy in Singapore. Inspired by the potential of small submarine robots borne from his professional experience and passion for diving, Torgersen established Nido Robotics, where he is currently chairman and CEO.

He started his sales career at Euro Sports Media and deVere Group. Synge was the head of sales at food-delivery startup Degustabox before joining Eliport as co-founder and director of partnerships. He and co-founder Dmitry Skorinko created Eliport to solve the last-mile delivery problem by using autonomous delivery robots in local neighborhoods. Since March 2019, Synge has also joined Alias Robotics as VP for sales.
