Billed as the world’s first online venture capital platform, launched in 2012 in San Francisco, FundersClub is a marketplace that allows accredited investors to become equity holders in managed venture funds, which then fund pre-screened private companies. It has invested in more than 340 companies to date, valued at more than US$7.6 billion and has seen 35 exits.
