The investment fund was established in 1998 by Luis Martín Cabiedes, one of the most prominent business angels in Spain. The VC provides funds for early-stage growth of internet and technology ventures in Spain, acting initially as a business angel and then becoming a venture capitalist for future funding rounds.

With more than 175 years of history, Navistar is the fourth biggest truck-maker in the US. The company drives new innovations in engine technologies, with products ranging from commercial trucks and buses to defense vehicles.In June 2020, it partnered with self-driving trucking startup TuSimple to produce L4 autonomous trucks. It also invested in its first Chinese company TuSimple.In March 2021, Navistar stockholders approved acquisition by TRATON, part of the Volkswagen Group. TRATON has also invested in TuSimple.

Pedro Luis Uriarte Santamarina was the CEO of Spanish multinational bank BBVA from 1994 to 2001. He was also the Regional Minister-Economy & Finance of the first autonomous government of the Basque Country region in Spain. After being one of the creators of the Basque Agency for Innovation, Uriarte became an early investor of Indexa Capital and Bewa7er, both of which are co-founded by Unai Asenjo Barra.

The Standards, Productivity and Innovation Board (SPRING Singapore) used to be a statutory board under the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore. It was also the national standards and conformance body, tasked with developing and promoting internationally-recognized standards and quality assurance infrastructure.In April 2018, SPRING Singapore and International Enterprise Singapore were merged to form a single agency, Enterprise Singapore, a government agency championing enterprise development.

Daocin Capital was established in 2015 by Wu Bin, a founding shareholder of NYSE-listed e-commerce site VIP.com. In 2017, Daocin Capital was listed among China's top 30 new equity investment institutions by Zero2IPO Group, a Chinese entrepreneurial and investment services platform.

K11 is a shopping mall brand based in Hong Kong. It was founded in 2008 by entrepreneur Adrian Cheng. Cheng’s family owns and controls Hong Kong conglomerate New World Development, which deals mainly in property, infrastructure and services, department stores and hotels, and jewelry group Chow Tai Fook.

Established in 2015, Unovis Asset Management is a New York-based investor focussed on the alternative protein sector. It has raised two funds to date, the New Crop Capital Trust and The Alternative Protein Fund. It aims to transform the global food system by investing in solutions that facilitate sustained behavioral change and eliminate the consumption of animal protein products. It partners with entrepreneurs developing innovative plant-based and cultivated replacements to animal products, including meat, seafood, dairy and eggs. It currently has 33 companies in its portfolio and has managed three exits to date including Beyond Meat. Its recent investments include the undisclosed convertible note round of Spanish plant-based meat startup Foods for Tomorrow in May 2020 and in the $28m seed round of US plant-based startup Alpha Foods in February 2020.

Founded in 2010 and based in Lisbon, eggNEST is a seed capital fund targeting Portuguese startups in the fields of digital marketing and software engineering. eggNEST is partnered with VC firms such as Caixa Capital and Portugal Ventures, as well as accelerators such as Startup Lisboa and Startup Braga, to build the country’s startup ecosystem.

A prolific investor, Eddy Chan has been involved in venture investments for US companies like Paypal, SpaceX, and Palantir, as well as Indonesian ones like coworking space EV Hive (now CoHive), BeliMobilGue (used car marketplace) and Kata.ai (chatbot builder). He is also the founding partner of Intudo Ventures, an "Indonesia-only" VC firm.

Alberto González Muíño is co-founder and CTO of Alén Space, joining the company in 2017. He is responsible for systems design, integration, testing and operations, having led several nanosatellites missions himself. González studied telecommunications at Spain's Vigo University, joining its Aerospace Group upon graduation, where he worked for more than 11 years. He was previously also a project manager at the Aerospace Innovation Center in Galicia until July 2018.

Mass media empire Condé Nast was established in 1909 by Condé Montrose Nast. The company’s portfolio includes some of the most well-known titles in media: Vogue, GQ, The New Yorker and Vanity Fair. Initially print-focused, the company ventured into film, television and digital video programming with the launch of Condé Nast Entertainment in 2011.

Beenext is a new venture fund started by Beenos founder and former CEO Teruhide “Teru” Sato. The fund describes itself as a “partnership of the founders, by the founders, for the founders”; bringing their wealth of global experience and capital backing to support promising entrepreneurs. Beenext has invested in nine countries, including India, Singapore and Indonesia.

Everhaus is a VC firm headquartered in Jakarta, investing primarily in southeast asian startups. The Everhaus team's expertise is primarily in data analytics and financial services, which it uses to "catalyze new retail and sharing economy" in the region. The VC has backed car-sharing startup HipCar, interactive video platform TADO and on-demand services provider Seekmi.
