Sergio Sanchez is the CTO and co-founder of Widuid that was later re-branded as Polaroo, a Spanish household bill management app. He spent eight months working on building the MVP with the Rovira brothers in 2017.The mechanical engineer also completed a master's in Automatic Control and Robotics at his alma mater, the Polytechnic Degree of Barcelona. Like fellow co-founder Marc Rovira, Sanchez was also at space tech startup Zero2Infinity working as a full stack developer and HMI engineer. He has also worked in biotech company Fungitech Global as a mechanical engineer. 

Oscar Serra is a co-founder and co-CEO as well as a big-data scientist at Deep Solutions, a producer of deep neural network software for image recognition. He combines this role with a multi-disciplinary management role in his family's €15m-revenue industrial machinery company Serra Workshops, where he has worked since 2010. Prior to this, he worked at Honda Research Institute Europe in Germany as a software programmer for one year, and as a PhD researcher in computer vision, deep learning and neural networks at Barcelona's Institute of Robotics and Industrial Information Systems (IRI). Serra has a total of five Master's degrees: Programming, Robotics, Neuroscience, Computer Vision, and an MBA. He has studied at Hult International Business School in San Francisco,  Lumière University Lyon 2 in France, at Barcelona's IRI and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. 

Jiang Tong obtained bachelor's degrees in Civil Engineering from Tongji University and Control Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University between 2011 and 2016. Upon graduation, he joined a robotics startup founded by a team from Zhejiang university, Shanghai Seer Robotics Technology, working as an algorithm engineer from 2016 to 2017. He then joined Bumie Tech in 2017. He specializes in simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) and location algorithm. Jiang now serves as CTO at Onesight. 

Enric Asunción (b.1985) is an industrial engineer who has devoted all of his career to the electric vehicle charging market. Asunción worked at Tesla Motors Netherlands for one year as a program manager of Charging Installations in 2014. Before joining the Institute of Robotics and Informatics in Catalonia, he worked with electric and hybrid vehicles as an engineer within the Electric Vehicle Charger testing team at Applus IDIADA in 2009. By working for top-notch firms and institutions within the electric automotive industry, he has experience in testing and developing the best technologies for charging solutions in the market.

After graduating in economics and biotech at Harvard in 2009, Keller Rinaudo joined BCG in San Francisco but left to become a professional rock climber in November 2010. He has climbed alpine cliffs in France, underwater caves in Kentucky and the limestone towers of Yangshuo, China.In July 2011, Rinaudo became an entrepreneur, specializing robotics and drones, with over nine patents under his name. He founded Romotive that made inexpensive small robots using mobile phones as their computing system, machine vision system and wireless communication system.Romotive was pivoted into Zipline International in 2014 to design and manufacture make drones for the delivery of  critical medical supplies in remote parts of the world. 

Keenan Wyrobek is a graduate from Stanford University and Johns Hopkins University specializing in medical product design and robotics. He has developed several patents for medical robotics and other high-tech products.He also co-founded the Personal Robotics Program at Willow Garage, where he was involved in launching the Robot Operating System (ROS) and the first personal robot for software application development. In 2014, Wyrobek co-founded Zipline International and became head of product and engineering at the Silicon Valley-based company that makes drones for delivering critical medical supplies to remote parts of the world.

Emilio Sepulveda is a Spanish engineer and MBA graduate with over 20 years of experience in the technology space at a global level. He worked as Strategy and Innovation Manager at Telefónica, leading multiple startups and projects. He was also involved in team structuring, seed funding round support, business model and strategy development.Passionate about IoT and robotics, Sepulveda co-founded Natural Machines in 2012 to develop 3D food-grade home appliances for both B2B and B2C customers. The company has just launched the world’s first 3D food printer equipped with laser-cooking technology.

Nitesh Kadyan (also known as Nitesh Kumar) is a computer scientist, robotics engineer, inventor, maker and hacker. He was one of the three co-founders of Graviky Labs, a startup producing ink from captured carbon emissions. He worked at Graviky Labs from 2016–2018, during which he led its hardware development and prototyping. Currently, he works as a senior creative technologist at Lowe's Innovation Labs India.Kadyan holds a degree in computer science from the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore and did a research stint on AI and robotics at Freie University, Berlin. His background includes expertise in machine learning and embedded systems. Kadyan’s past projects include self-driving model cars, autonomous smart wheelchairs, an augmented reality interface for laser cutting, as well as machines that sketch and draw. He also founded a startup that does 3D printing in nearly any material, from plastic and metallic clay to chocolate, playdoh and fabric, and which was incubated at MIT Global Startup Labs 2014.Kadyan was named one of Foreign Policy magazine’s Top 100 Global Thinkers in 2016. He is a recipient of the Campus Diaries 25 Under 25 award, and is a two-time speaker at TEDx.

Upon graduating from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in Mechanics, Alex Gu joined National Instruments, where he worked on data collection, signal processing, instrument testing and system integration. He started developing rehab robots in 2009 and founded Jinghe Robot in 2012. The startup, developer of rehab robot Flexbot, was acquired by rehab device manufacturer QJ Rehab in 2015. Gu founded Fourier Intelligence in July 2015 and has served as CEO ever since.

With a degree in Mechanics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Xu Zhenhua has over 10 years of experience in robotics R&D. He previously worked as a senior R&D engineer at FANUC Robotics and the Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center, a joint venture between General Motors and SAIC Motor. Xu and Alex Gu co-founded Jinghe Robot in 2012 and Fourier Intelligence in 2015. Xu served as CTO at Fourier Intelligence from 2015 to 2018, at which time he left to found new exoskeleton startup ULS Robotics.

Petri Alava has over 15 years of industry experience in logistics, publishing and waste management. In 1989, he completed a master’s in industrial engineering and started his management career at Finncont Oy, a subsidiary of GWS Group. He went on to work at Rocla Oy in 2001 as managing director of the Rocla Robotruck Group with manufacturing units in Finland and Sweden. He also held senior management roles at Vapo Oy and Kekkilä Oy.In 2015, he became the managing partner of Profon Oy and also co-founded cleantech materials startup Infinited Fiber as CEO. Based in Helsinki, he is also currently chairman of various companies, as well as the CEO of Solid Environmental Technologies.

The venture capital arm of semiconductor and telecom equipment giant Qualcomm is a San-Diego investor focusing on VR, robotics, IoT, cloud and digital health companies in the US, Europe, Israel, China, Korea and India.

Xia Zuoquan (b. 1963) co-founded BYD in 1996, which makes cars as well as batteries for electric vehicles. BYD is about 10% owned by Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway. Xia founded Zhengxuan Capital in 2004, an investment firm having over RMB 10 billion in assets under management. Zhengxuan Capital has invested in more than 30 companies in gene sequencing, robotics, smart hardware, chip design, supply chain finance and talent assessment sectors. Xia was placed no. 256 in the 2015 Forbes China Rich List, with an estimated net worth US$1.2 billion.

Founded in 2013 by Long Wei, a co-founder of Dianping, Light-Up Capital (also known as Dianliang Fund) focuses on companies in early through growth stage with specialization in robotics, artificial intelligence, mobile internet and mobile healthcare.

The investment arm of Yamaha Motor Group (Japan) was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Palo Alto, California. It focuses on industrial automation and transportation technology, and on smart and automated solutions in particular. Recent investments include automated strawberry picker Advanced Farm Technologies' US$7.5m Series A round and drone and robotics startup Exyn Technology's US$16m Series A round.
