He co-founded Tonic App after studying for his MBA at IE Business School in Madrid, where he met the rest of the co-founding team. Bórsos previously worked as Head of Business Intelligence at Job Today and as a Business Analyst at various levels at Goodyear, both in Luxembourg. He also lectures part-time in Leadership and Management in Healthcare at his former university, where UpHill was established.Sequiera  has been President of ANEM, the Portuguese Medical Students’ International Committee and for two years helped develop the medical curriculum at the University of Luxembourg. He also holds a postgraduate qualification in Information Management and Business Intelligence in Healthcare from NOVA Information Management School in Lisbon.

The European Investment Bank is a pan-European investor based in Luxembourg, and the only bank owned by European Union member states. Vesalius Biocapital III is a €70 million fund that invests in medtech, e-health initiatives and drug development in Europe. It was launched in 2017 by Luxembourg-based Vesalius Biocapital, a life sciences venture capital firm founded in 2007.  Preceding Vesalius Biocapital III were Vesalius Biocapital I, with €76 million under management and Vesalius Biocapital II, which has €78 million invested; both funds have 11 portfolio companies each.Its recent investments include in Portuguese home physiotherapy tech solution SWORD Health's 2021 $25m Series B and in the 2020 $9m second phase of its Series A round as well as in the 2020 €22m Series B round of German biotech Topas Therapeutics. 

Established in 1958, VERSO Capital is a boutique merchant banking and financial services firm based in Luxembourg. It also has offices in Geneva, Fribourg, Vaduz, Dubai, Singapore and BVI. VERSO specializes in sectors like education, food and renewables. Since 2011, the firm has invested over $700bn in venture capital in the global startup ecosystem. Funds worth over $245m were pumped into climatech, foodtech and biotech sectors since 2017. In February 2021, it merged with Swiss alternative asset manager ALDINI Capital that was also founded in 1958 and based in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. VERSO will leverage the expertise of ALDINI in hedge funds, private equity and real estate.

This Luxembourg-based venture capital firm was established in 2004 and has offices in Silicon Valley and Madrid, managing over €170 million in capital. It invests in early-stage, deeptech companies in the Iberian peninsula, France, the UK, and Ireland. The VC has a particular focus on AI, cybersecurity and big data.
