Co-founder of TaniHub Group
Michael Sugianto joined the Startup Weekend 2015 event, while reading his bachelor's degree in Business Information System at Universitas Bina Nusantara. Michael and other team members spent over 54 hours developing the idea for a farm-to-table online marketplace. The team won the runner-up prize, and the business idea was further developed into TaniHub.Michael graduated in 2016 and decided to focus on building TaniHub full-time. In 2017, the TaniHub team also launched the agri-focused P2P lending platform TaniFund, expanding TaniHub into the TaniGroup.

Trained in mathematics and economics, Pamitra Wineka has worked as an analyst for mutual funds distributor Danareksa, JP Morgan and the World Bank. After four years with the World Bank, he joined TaniHub as co-founder and president in 2016.Pamitra graduated in Mathematics at Institut Teknologi Bandung in 2010 and obtained a master's in Economics in 2011 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. He is also a partner and senior advisor at P2P lending firm Perdana and microloan app Akulaku.

Xie graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2012 with a master’s in Computer Science. Upon graduation, he was invited by famous angel investor Hadi Partovi to join startup project Fivestars, which would become the leading customer loyalty solutions provider in the United States. In 2015, Xie returned to China and adapted the Fivestars model to his own startup, Zaihui. Within just one week of his return, Zaihui raised millions of dollars from top Chinese investors.

Zhu received his LLB from the University of International Business and Economics in 2008 and a Master of the Science of Law from Stanford Law School in 2011. From 2011 to 2015, he worked as an associate at K&L Gates. He was among the lead lawyers on several M&A cases, including the acquisition of NuoMi by Baidu. Zhu left K&L Gates to co-found Zaihui in 2015.

Thanks to the Singapore-MIT Alliance Fellowship Program, Jeffry William Tani was able to join a four-year postgrad PhD in Manufacturing System and Technology after graduating in 2009 with a Mechanical Engineering degree at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore.In 2013, he joined Schlumberger as a new product development engineer. He left the Singapore-based oilfield mining services company in 2017 and returned to Indonesia to become the CPO of PT Advotics Teknologi Global.

He worked as a business analyst at Amazon for four months before joining a Distribution Management Program at General Electric in 2010. He left GE and returned to Indonesia to work as a consultant for BCG in 2012. Together with Hendi Chandi, Boris co-founded telecoms startup Kokatto in 2014. He later left BCG in 2016 to join Hendi to establish PT Advotics Teknologi Global as CEO.

He left in 2015 to establish PT Magale Sayana Indonesia, a property development company with a unique focus on environmental sustainability. The company completed an eco-living residential complex Sandar Andara and started a new project Magalarva to use insect larvae to process food waste into agricultural products. The London School of Public Relations graduate had worked briefly at insurance company Manulife and film studio Kinekuma. Xandega is also a member of the Polka Wars band, together with fellow Magale co-founder Karaeng Adjie. Both are not actively involved with Magalarva, since Magale completed an eco-living residential development and moved on to another project to recycle food waste using larvae.
