Founder of Fenghou Capital and Secretary-General of China Young Angel Investor Leader Association (founded in 2013 by China’s leading angel investors such as Bob Xu and Yang Ning).

One of China’s most famous angel investors and a prolific speaker, Xu Xiaoping (b.1960) is the managing partner of ZhenFund, a TMT-focused seed fund he founded with close friend and business partner Wang Qiang, in collaboration with Sequoia Capital China, in 2011. Xu began investing in 2006, after the New Oriental Education & Technology Group he co-founded became the first Chinese education company to list on NYSE. Trained as a professional musician, Xu plays the piano, violin, and oboe, and composes music as a hobby. He is also the author of more than 10 books. He studied at the Beijing Central Conservatory of Music and holds a master's in Music from the University of Saskatchewan.

China's largest seed fund, ZhenFund was set up in 2011 by Xu Xiaoping (Bob Xu), Wang Qiang (Victor Wang) and Sequoia Capital China. The original ZhenFund (or ZhenFund 1.0) was founded in 2006 when Xu began investing as an angel investor, after the New Oriental Education & Technology Group he co-founded went public on NYSE. ZhenFund's notable investments include Jumei, Jiayuan, LightInTheBox, Miyabaobei, Meicai and 17zuoye, among the more than 300 startups it has betted on.

Xu Wenyao received a bachelor's degree in 2006 and a master's degree in 2008 from Zhejiang University. In 2013, he earned his Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles. Xu is founder and director of the Embedded Sensing and Computing Group at the State University of New York at Buffalo and serves as an associate professor in the university's Department of Computer Science and Engineering. In February 2015, he co-founded Sennotech in Shenzhen and has served as Chief Scientist ever since. Xu leads Sennotech’s US lab.

With a degree in Mechanics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Xu Zhenhua has over 10 years of experience in robotics R&D. He previously worked as a senior R&D engineer at FANUC Robotics and the Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center, a joint venture between General Motors and SAIC Motor. Xu and Alex Gu co-founded Jinghe Robot in 2012 and Fourier Intelligence in 2015. Xu served as CTO at Fourier Intelligence from 2015 to 2018, at which time he left to found new exoskeleton startup ULS Robotics.

With experience in running a car rental business during a part-time job at college, Xu Peiwen first studied at the University of Malaya, and later pursued his postgraduate studies in Computer Science at Hong Kong University. Xu is responsible for product design, marketing and customer service at iRent.

After graduating from the Guanghua School of Management in Peking University, Xu Ding founded his first company, RealEducation, in 2011.

With an educational background in finance and business, Xu spent seven years working in investment banking upon graduating from Columbia University in 2005. She worked at Deutsche Bank and Macquarie Capital in Hong Kong, where she helped major Chinese e-commerce companies such as Vipshop, Moonbasa and Alibaba with their overseas IPOs, among other financial needs. She is a CFA Charterholder. Xu founded Shanghai Qiansong Internet Technology Co., Ltd., the parent company of MSParis, in 2014.

Before founding Dr. White, Xu worked as a senior technical specialist for six years at Microsoft, where he helped build Cortana, Microsoft's virtual assistant.

With over seven years of Internet/mobile experience, having founded GFAN, the Chinese Android app store that was later sold to listed mobile phone distributor Aisidi. With the GFAN sale proceeds, Xu became an investor, before starting Hotbody.

A product operations specialist with a decade of experience, Xu Weihao majored in Electronics at Tianjin University of Technology. He was manager of the product department at internet giant Sohu, and of the operations department at mobile search player YiCha. 

Xu Yingqi has over a decade of work experience in the gaming, pharmaceutical and finance sectors. He joined an online gaming company named 5173 in 2003 and expanded the team from 20 to 3,000 employees, increasing the yearly GMV from US$3m to more than US$1.5bn. Xu then joined a pharmaceutical company named 818 in 2009, helping over 300 pharmacies go online. The company's business grew 248% annually under his leadership. In 2003, Xu started financial services platform 658 that generated RMB1.3bn worth of transactions. In 2015, he went on to establish Yidianling, an online mental health consultancy.

BW Ventures was established in February 2015 by Xu Min. The firm has offices in Beijing and Shanghai. BW Ventures' angel investments usually range from RMB 500,000 to 1,500,000.

Founded in 2015 by former vice president of Tencent and GM of Tencent M&A, Richard Peng (Peng Zhijian), and former vice GM of Tencent M&A, Kurt Xu, Genesis Capital specializes in growth stage investment of internet startups in China and the US.
