Established in 2015, EQT Ventures is a Stockholm-based investor that describes itself as "half VC, half startup." It has invested in more than 50 companies, acting as lead investor in almost two-thirds of its investments, to date, of a total investment fund of €566m. EQT Ventures invests across sectors locally and globally and has successfully managed the exits of two Scandinavian startups.

CRCM Ventures is a unit of US- and HK-listed ChinaRock Capital Management. Headquartered in San Francisco with branch offices in Palo Alto, Beijing and Hong Kong, CRCM Ventures invests in seed and early-stage Silicon Valley and China technology startups, with more than 20 years of experience in public and private investing.

Rising Ventures is a Portuguese seed/early-stage VC firm founded in 2014. Its current portfolio consists of startups that provide B2B tech solutions.

Azure Ventures is an Indonesian-based VC. It has backed e-mail marketing SaaS company MailTarget and IT-focused headhunting platform Ekrut.

Based in Jakarta, Maloekoe Ventures is an Indonesian-focused venture capital firm headed by Adrien Gheur, a former MD of hedge fund APS Asset Management.

East Ventures co-founder Willson Cuaca graduated from Bina Nusantara University with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He worked at Singapore-based Red Sentry, a cyber security and network performance optimization company. In 2010 he co-founded East Ventures, a seed-early stage venture capital firm. That same year, he also co-founded Apps Foundry, a mobile company that developed the e-reader app SCOOP, among other things.

The VC arm of Tsinghua University, THG Ventures was founded in 2015. It is managed by the investment team from the state-owned Tsinghua Holdings Ltd., which has specialized in venture capital investments since 1999 and is one of the first China teams focused on RMB investment. The team also founded TusPark Incubator and TusPark Ventures.  

BRI Ventures is the corporate VC arm of Indonesian state-owned bank BRI. It was established in 2019 and brought in Nicko Widjaja, who previously worked for MDI Ventures (another state-owned CVC linked to Telkom) as their CEO. They have a stake in the state-linked e-wallet company LinkAja as well as bill aggregator service AyoPop. Their investment activities began in earnest in 2020, with their participation in TaniGroup's Series A+ and Investree's Series C rounds.

Albert Wenger is a managing partner at New York-based  Union Square Ventures. He is also an angel investor with disclosed investments in 25 startups, many in the area of sustainability.  His most recent investments have been in the April 2021 $6.2m seed round of Finnish carbon sequestration startup Carbon Culture and in the $9.5m Series A round of French web browser innovation company Beam. 

SoftBank Ventures Asia, founded in 2000, is a subsidiary of SoftBank Korea and part of the SoftBank Group. It is SoftBank’s early stage venture arm, with a geographical focus in Asia, the US, Europe and Israel. It was previously known as SoftBank Ventures Korea.SoftBank Ventures Asia links early-stage startups with SoftBank’s wider network of partners and businesses, which include Yahoo Japan and Alibaba (both of which SoftBank has stakes in), components manufacturers ARM and nVidia, and Indonesian e-commerce platform Tokopedia, which SoftBank has invested in. Outside of its focus areas of AI, robotics and IoT, SoftBank Ventures has invested in companies like sports analytics company bepro11, telehealth service Alodokter, and property rental management Mamikos.

Amand Ventures is a venture capital firm established in 2016. Based in Singapore, it has backed the payments startup Wallex and Indonesian online jewelry business Orori. 

Established in 2007, Exago is an innovation management software and service provider for companies in 19 countries across four continents. Its clients include Shell, Carrefour and Barclays. Exago has offices in Lisbon, London, and São Paulo, Brazil.

Serena Ventures is a venture capital investment firm founded by professional tennis player and businesswoman Serena Williams. The company focuses on early-stage companies founded by young, diverse teams. Since it was founded in 2014, it has invested in more than 30 companies with a cumulative market cap of $12b. Coffee brand Kopi Kenangan is its first investment in the Indonesian market. Serena Ventures has invested in notable companies like plant-based meat maker Impossible Foods, cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, as well as Serena Williams’ own fashion label, S by Serena.
