Co-founder and Chairman of Bareksa
Karaniya Dharmasaputra is a media industry veteran, trained in public policy and communications-related affairs. He was managing editor at TEMPO, an Indonesian news magazine and had a brief stint as a broadcast journalist with Voice of America (VOA). In 2008, Karaniya left TEMPO to establish VIVA, a news and entertainment portal. He subsequently moved on from VIVA in 2013 to establish Bareksa, an online investment portal dedicated to mutual funds.Karaniya is also President Director of KLY Digital Media Group, a holding company for digital content platforms owned by Emtek.

As the co-founder and CPO of Billin, Diego Goya Quijano is responsible for the IT team, business and funding strategies. After graduating in Business Administration at CUNEF in 2010, he studied English for a year in California, USA. His first entrepreneurial venture was in 2009 when he co-founded Deyese Soluciones (D+S), a company specializing in cost optimization. He then worked at Smartgroup Telecomunicaciones for almost two years before co-founding Billin in 2013. He has since attended various courses relating to Venture Capital, M&A and Financing Operations at IEB. He then specialized in web development at Ironhack.

Bryan McEire of Spotahome
Bryan McEire was born in Costa Rica but spent most of his life in Spain and Belgium. The CTO of Spotahome has computer and software engineering degrees from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid and Université Libre de Bruxelles.Together with CEO Artacho, McEire tried to raise funds for Spotahome during the early days. However, investors were not interested and both went separate ways for a while. Artacho returned from London and approached McEire to revive Spotahome with new audiovisual viewings by home checkers. He had previously worked in the business intelligence, infrastructure and real estate sectors.

Jonatan Gomes da Silva is the CMO and co-founder of cloud-based fintech Sheetgo. The Brazilian is an IT specialist based in Santa Caterina, Brazil. He has three degrees from two Brazilian universities and the think-tank Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Project Management, Web Programming and Computer Networks. He had previously worked at Moon Tools as a project manager. He was also a technology manager at Abramar Construtora. Both companies were run by fellow co-founder Yannick Rault van der Vaart.

He won at the local level and was able to travel to Silicon Valley. Subsequent awards encouraged him to focus on Fundeen, where he has been serving as CEO since July 2017.

In 2018, he raised seed funding to pivot Hupu's Poizon app into an independent trading platform for limited edition sneakers, designer sportswear and accessories.

Cornell and Stanford-educated Fulbright scholar João Barros is a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Porto and teaches in the MBA program at the Porto Business School. He has also held visiting appointments at MIT and Carnegie Mellon. He has co-founded two startups, Streambolico and Veniam, of which he is also CEO. Between 2009 and 2012, Barros served as National Director of the Carnegie Mellon Portugal Program, a five-year international partnership funded by the Portuguese Foundation of Science and Technology. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from Munich's Technical University.
