The Baptist Health group of hospitals is the largest not-for-profit healthcare organization in Arkansas, USA. Founded originally in 1921 as Baptist State Hospital with about 100 beds, Baptist Health is a community-driven healthcare provider. The group comprises the Baptist Health Foundation, a college, a clinical research facility and a healthcare network run by physician partners.

The civil engineer founded the web game developer FunCity Inc during his third college year in August 2006. In June 2012, he launched the taxi app Kuaidadi in Hangzhou. In September 2012, he invested in Hangzhou Enniu Network Technology Co Ltd, the parent company of 51 Credit Card Manager, China's largest credit card service based on monthly active users. Making Ideas Business was founded in 2012 by a group of 51 students and professors after the end of the 2011-2012 Master in Internet Business at ISDI, an international institution that offers training and degree programs in digital business management.Along with mentoring and industry expertise, the fund provides tech startups in the Spanish ecosystem with seed investments. It has invested €260,000 in five companies to date.The group today includes more than 78 partners and angel investors that, in total, have more than 1,000 years of professional experience and 50,000 hours of training in the internet sector.

Marieta del Rivero is a successful female entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in leading companies in the world of information and communications technology, mobility and digital services. She graduated from the IESE Business School and has an executive degree in Digital Business Strategy from Columbia University.Currently, the president of the International Women´s Forum Spain, she is also the president of Seeliger and Conde media group. Del Rivero is also an independent non-executive director at Cellnex Telecom, the main European infrastructure operator for wireless communication and Gestamp, an international group that manufactures metal automotive components.

Laura González- Estéfani is best known as the co-founder of Venture City. Established in 2017, the tech accelerator has offices in Miami in the US and Madrid in Spain. The director of one of Spain’s largest banks CaixaBank is also a board member of the European Commission’s Innovation Council. She has also worked for Facebook as a country manager for Spain and Portugal.González- Estéfani has also been a prolific private investor and business angel since 2016. She invests across ecosystems and market verticals, including success stories like Cabify and Spotahome. In 2020, she participated in the seed round of Spanish femtech WOOM.

Paul Allen was an American business magnate and investor. Best known as Microsoft Corporation co-founder with his childhood friend Bill Gates, he left the company after eight years after being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease. Allen died in 2018 at the age of 65, with a net worth of $20.3bn.His multibillion-dollar investment arm Vulcan Capital has backed tech startups around the world, including Spotify, Alibaba Group and Flipkart. Allen also owned the NBA's Portland Trail Blazers, the NFL's Seattle Seahawks and has a stake in the Seattle Sounders soccer team. He also donated over $2bn to philanthropic initiatives.

Part of the Finnish Virala Group, Nidoco AB was established in Stockholm in 1965. The Swedish investment company is run by well-known Nordic family investors Alexander and Albert Ehrnrooth. The former is the CEO of Virala Oy AB. The latter was appointed as chairman of the Virala board in 2015. Nidoco and its four subsidiaries have stakes in more than 300 companies worldwide, including major shareholdings in three listed companies like Enersense International in Finland. Nidoco’s equity portfolio was worth nearly €360m in 2020.

In 2015, he became co-founder and CEO of Pervasive Technologies, a company that deploys big data, machine learning and IoT for digital innovation.  

Juan García Perrote is an IESE Business School MBA graduate with over 10 years of experience in executive marketing roles. He is also serial entrepreneur in marketplace and digital marketing startups. He was the co-founder of Tick4all, the “last-minute of movie-tickets,” offering discounted seats at local cinemas, and COO of the referral marketing platform Fulltip. He was also partner and CEO of the digital marketing company Smart Client.Currently, he is CEO and founder of Ketplace, a marketplace sales management consultancy advising companies how to get the best sales performance in leading marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, and AliExpress. García Perrote is also a partner and advisor in The Beemine Lab, the first biotechnology company in Spain to produce cannabidiol-based cosmetics.
