Juan García Perrote is an IESE Business School MBA graduate with over 10 years of experience in executive marketing roles. He is also serial entrepreneur in marketplace and digital marketing startups. He was the co-founder of Tick4all, the “last-minute of movie-tickets,” offering discounted seats at local cinemas, and COO of the referral marketing platform Fulltip. Reza Avesena is an experienced software engineer who took the leap into entrepreneurship when he came to Yogyakarta and joined a photobook printing company. Hilman Fajrian started learning how to code at the age of six. By the time he reached high school, he was earning money writing software for local businesses in Balikpapan in the East Kalimantan province. He decided to read Law at Universitas Gadjah Mada, but during his time in university he also ran a software development house. After graduating with a bachelor's degree, he returned to East Kalimantan and worked for a local newspaper before starting his own in 2006. Between 2006 and 2017, Hilman also founded a digital marketing company catering to local businesses and briefly worked as a big data consultant for PLN, Indonesia's state-owned power company. He exited all his roles in late 2017 to begin work on Arkademi, a new Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) platform.

Charlie Bavington holds a PhD in biochemistry from the University of Edinburgh and has done postdoctoral research at the Scottish Association for Marine Science in natural marine products specializing in glycobiology and carbohydrate chemistry.In 2000, he moved from academic research to industry, joining a marine biotechnology company where he has been responsible for natural product discovery and contract research. His commitment to marine life and natural product development continued with GlycoMar, a company he co-founded in 2005, specializing in the discovery and development of novel functional glycans from microalgae, macroalgae, invertebrates, and plants.Since 2018, he’s CTO and co-founder of Oceanium, a Scottish startup developing marine-safe bio-packaging and plant-based food and nutrition products from sustainably farmed seaweed.

While studying at Telkom University in Indonesia, Utari Octavianty worked in the marketing department of the telecoms company Telkom and also as a secretary at the university. She graduated with a Business degree in 2015 and co-founded PasarLaut.com. She later became the Chief General Affairs Officer of Aruna, a fishery tech startup that evolved from PasarLaut.com.

Shanghai Guohe Capital was set up in 2009 by Shanghai International Group, a state-owned financial institution. It is China’s first private fund management company to obtain the qualification of private equity fund manager. The firm currently runs multiple funds with assets worth over RMB 10bn. 

Artesmedia is a Spanish media group, with a cross-channel presence through television, radio and cinemas. The company typically invest through media for equity deals.The group has backed to date fast-growing and customer-oriented startups in Spain such as Wallapop, Groupalia and Restaurantes.com

Rocky Pesik is the son of Rudy Pesik, founder of the Caraka Group of logistics companies and Birotika Semesta, DHL's partner company in Indonesia. Rocky is a director at both the Caraka Group and Birotika Semesta and has invested in two startups, logistics startup Pakde and international shopping intermediary GudangImpor.
