Budiman Wikarsa is an engineering graduate from Purdue University. He worked in management consulting firms including AT Kearney and McKinsey. He joined the Grameen Foundation as a project manager in 2007 and helped Aldi Haryopratomo to co-found and run the social enterprise Ruma from 2009 to 2011.Budiman is currently the head of strategic partnership at Monk’s Hill Ventures. He has an MBA from Northwestern University and had also worked for the transition team that assisted the Indonesian President Joko Widodo in 2014.

Dr. Li is an associate professor at the Software Engineering Institute at the School of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science, Peking University. He is also a member of the Key Lab of High Confidence Software Technologies at the university. Li has been teaching Introduction to Computing at Peking University since 2006. In 2013, he was a visiting scholar at the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. Li's research focuses on software engineering, machine learning and knowledge engineering. He founded aiXcoder in March 2017.

Prior to this, he was co-founder and co-manager at the startup’s forerunner, Valencia-based Fusió d'Arts Technology, a communications agency for the disabled from 2011 until its pivot into Visualfy. This agency itself was a pivot from Alcaide’s previous startup Asociacion Cultural Fusió d'Arts, an arts and culture-based association for the deaf, which he also co-led from its founding in 2009. From 2002–2011, Alcaide was also founder and manager of a co-operative pub. Alcaide studied Business Administration and Accounting at Laurona Institute of Professional Training near Valencia and is fluent in sign language.
