Kukuh Budi Santoso graduated from Indonesia’s Universitas Brawijaya with a degree in Agriculture. While at university, he was an active in student organizations such as the IAAS (an international organization of agriculture students) and founded social enterprises. Kang Hongwen earned his doctoral degree in Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University from August 2006 to December 2012. Prior to that, he was a research intern for more than a year at Microsoft Research Asia, during which time he worked on video content analysis, video synthesis, and was part of a team that was awarded a US patent for spacetime montage.
