Co-founder, CEO of Foods for Tomorrow / Heura Foods
Marc Coloma is the co-founder and CEO of Spanish plant-based meat startup, Foods for Tomorrow, where he has worked since 2017. Earlier, he spent two years at the local government business promotion organization Barcelona Activa's Entrepreneur's With Ideas training program, where Food for Tomorrow’s business and Heura foods product ideas were conceived. Coloma's background includes stints at a Catalonian animal charity and Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in project work and fundraising respectively, and as COO of a catering company. The firm is backed by China's Zhexin IT and Indonesian angel investors keen to support the growth of the local game industry. Discovery Nusantara Capital has helped introduce games from Touchten, an Indonesian game development studio, to the Chinese market. Aside from video games, the firm has recently invested in NaoBun Project, an Indonesian comics publisher and intellectual property management agency.

Beta-i also organizes the international energy accelerator Free Electrons, with EDP as one of its sponsors. Free Electrons has already accelerated 27 startups and is now running its third edition with 15 startups, five of which are Portugal-based. All the selected participants will have the chance to work for one year with at least one of the 10 global energy utilities that form the Free Electrons consortium. Another Beta-i event is The Journey, the first accelerator in Portugal dedicated to tourism tech startups from all over the world. He was vice president at VANCL, senior vice president at JD.com and general consultant at lefeng.com. Wu, an original co-founder, left Luoji Siwei in 2013. He moved on from Luoji Siwei to serve as general consultant at media firm Fleet Entertainment. Wu founded Context Lab, a corporate services platform, in 2015. He is also the author of three popular business insight books.
