Graduating with a bachelor’s in Business Management and Finance from the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) in Indonesia, Aditya Hadiputra became the CFO of Utoyo & Partners in August 2011. He left the financial services company with its founding partner Marshall Utoyo in 2013. They decided to set up a coworking space hub Conclave in Jakarta, together with two other graduates from ITB. Based in Jakarta, Aditya has been CFO of Conclave since January 2013. He has also been working as an investment associate since July 2015 at MDI Ventures, Telkom’s venture capital arm.

Jasin Halim read a master’s in Marketing and Finance at Monash University in 1990,  while working as a lecturer in Computer Science. He returned to Indonesia in 1992 to establish a mail order company that was shut down due to the 1998 Asian financial crisis. Undaunted, he went on to establish a TV shopping company and a VOIP company.  He also founded PT Mitra Cipta Teknologi, the company behind e-commerce HargaHot in 2012. However, Jasin later decided to quit HargaHot to co-found Kioson in 2015.

Benedicto Haryanto was the head of business at Chora Agro Resources and still serves as an independent commissioner at the Indonesian palm oil company. Ben is also a non-executive board member of Bedec Pte Ltd and Indoseaweed. Having studied at the IESE Business School, the industrial engineer from the University of Michigan became interested in helping SMEs to raise much needed finance through P2P microloans. PT Lunaria Annua Teknologi was established in 2015 and the P2P platform Koinworks was launched one year later.

Francisco Vieira is a co-founder and the CFO of Triporate, a startup that applies AI to corporate travel planning. He had also co-founded HelpUp, a digital platform that connects people with companies and non-governmental organizations. Viera has worked at PwC, Digitex and Isolux Corsan and has experience in auditing as well as financial control and reporting across Spain and Latin America.  Vieria graduated with double bachelor degrees in Business Administration and Law and holds a master’s in Finance and Auditing. 

Philippe Gelis is a co-founder and CEO of Kantox, a foreign currency exchange management platform. Born in Narbonne, France, in 1979, he now lives in Barcelona where the company's main offices are located. Prior to setting up Kantox in 2011, Gelis worked as a strategy and management consultant at Deloitte and as a financial consultant at Axis Corporate. His first job was as financial controller at Renault, Switzerland. Gelis holds a master's in Business Strategy and an MBA in Corporate Finance, both from Toulouse Business School, France. 

Indra Suryawan is the co-founder of Star Mercato Capitale, the company behind mutual fund investment platform Tanamduit. Between 1997 and 2001, he was the department head of business and development at Bank Bali. He later joined Jatis Solutions, which specializes in developing enterprise IT applications, leaving as deputy CEO in 2010. Between 2013 and 2017, Indra was the CEO of PT Digital Artha Media, which developed Bank Mandiri's e-cash system. Indra holds a master's in Management and Finance from Prasetiya Mulya Business School, Indonesia.

James Wiryadi graduated in 2014 from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. The chemical engineer went on to read a master's in Real Estate at New York University.He gained work experience in finance through internships at OCBC, PwC and other financial advisory firms before returning to Indonesia in 2017. In 2018, he became an analyst at CapitaLand Indonesia, a local branch of the Singapore real estate developer. In June 2019, he left CapitaLand to focus on building the new equity crowdfunding platform CrowdDana.

Albert Homs Basas is co-founder and CFO at Kibus Petcare, the first hardware that automatically cooks and dispenses healthy pet food. He has worked there since 2018. Prior to this, from 2012, he held several positions as a treasurer in different Spanish and multinational companies, including Coca Cola and motocross equipment company Fox Racing. Homs holds combined undergraduate and Master's degrees in Business Administration and Management from Barcelona's ESADE business school, as well as an MSc in Finance from the University of Prague. 

Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in journalism at the Renmin University of China, Li Yong has worked for various publications like Workers Daily, Finance and Economics Magazine, Southern Weekly and Global Entrepreneur.In April 2012, he resigned as the president of portal business at news portal NetEase to establish an online tutoring platform Fenbi, the predecessor of Yuanfudao. He is currently the CEO at Yuanfudao.Before starting his own business, Li had invested in Tinder-style dating app Momo and business media Huxiu.

Eempat Kapital (EK) was established in 2011 by Pramadita (Riel) Tasmaya, who is also a co-founder of Muslimarket. The investment firm is also managed by team member Emilia Emil Abbas, the daughter of Dr Emil Abbas who also owns PT Ranji Karya Sakti, part of the Easco Holding conglomerate. Another team member is Aldi Harris, who was the general manager of the private family-owned Easco Holding.EK’s portfolio includes energy and oil companies, e-commerce Muslimarket, concert information website Sindhen and food chains, Chicken Run and Arasseo. EK also raises finance for startups and provides management services as needed.

Tim Hart is an investor and consultant at Charlotte Street Capital, focusing on early stage and general tech businesses. He became a non-executive director at Nixplay and Creedon Technologies Limited in 2017. He joined the advisory board of Chorus Intelligence Ltd in 2016. He has acquired a wide range of finance and trading experience since 1989 when he started work as a junior trader at James Capel.  He has also served as VP at Robert Fleming, a director at Merrill Lynch and MD of Deutsche Bank.

WA4STEAM is a not-for-profit organization that provides seed capital with an investment focus on supporting women with projects and ideas applicable to STEAM sectors (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts/Architecture and Mathematics).The association is composed of women with backgrounds and experiences in biosciences, mathematics, finance, engineering, law, accounting and coaching. It offers significant support to the founders during the early stages of the startup cycle.WA4STEAM cooperates with a network of co-investors, VC funds, family offices, accelerators and incubators. It also collaborates with university associations and science and technology parks that back and leverage the portfolio of companies.

Gusmantara Ekamukti Himawan, known as Eka, holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, USA. However, he chose a career in finance instead, beginning as a research associate at Independence Capital Asset Partners. After becoming an analyst there, he moved on to become an investment banker at Barclays for two years. He left Barclays in 2012 to co-found Bilna with fellow Purdue alumni Ferry Tenka and Jason Lamuda. He was the CFO of Bilna that merged with Moxy to become Orami. Eka is now the CFO and executive vice chairman of Orami.

After graduating with an Industrial Engineering degree from Purdue University in the US, Sean DeWitt became a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He later worked at the US Department of State and the Fund for New York City.In 2007, he joined the nonprofit Grameen Foundation that was established by Grameen Bank founder Muhammad Yunus. As part of the nonprofit, he helped Aldi Haryopratomo establish the social enterprise Ruma.  DeWitt currently works for the World Resource Institute. He also holds master’s degrees in Development Finance and Environmental Economics from the University of London.

Veteran banker Adrian Asharyanto Gunadi graduated in Accounting from the University of Indonesia and later obtained an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management, Eramus University. Adrian started his banking career at Citibank in 1998. He was then based at the Standard Chartered Bank in Dubai, UAE, managing global Islamic finance product structuring for the Middle East and North Africa region (MENA), South Asia and Southeast Asia. He specialized in Islamic banking for over eight years at Permata Bank and Bank Muamalat in Indonesia until 2015, when he left to co-found Investree.
