CEO and Co-founder of Solatom
Miguel Frasquet Herraiz is passionate about the energy sector, having worked for six years on projects in China, the UAE and several European countries, as well as four years at the CTAER (Advanced Technology Centre for Renewable Energy) as an engineer and solar R&D coordinator. In 2016, Frasquet co-founded Solatom based on his PhD thesis and is currently the CEO of the startup that develops solar concentrators for industrial applications.

Agung Nugroho, a graduate in Chemical Engineering at the Institut Teknologi Bandung in Indonesia, began his career at Jakarta’s Boston Consulting Group in 2008. He was promoted to a consultant role in 2012 but left later that year to embark on an MBA program at the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley. In 2014, he co-founded PT Kudo Teknologi Indonesia, an online-to-offline startup. Agung is also a curator at the Global Shapers Community, a youth-centric initiative by the World Economic Forum.

He went on to set up Global Education & Technology Group, which ran 450 IELTS centers in 60 cities and listed on Nasdaq. Zhang sold the company in 2011 to the Pearson Group for US$294 million. The former Honeywell agent is now highly influential in education and training. He is a member of the Beijing Democratic League.

Galuh Koco Sadewo is a software engineer based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. In 2011, after graduating from STMIK Jenderal Ahmad Yani in Yogyakarta, he co-founded online flight ticket agency GarasiTiket.com. He also founded Sudut Indonesia, a social media traveller’s guide to Discover Amazing Indonesia in 2014. Galuh also worked as a digital marketing consultant at Ditto Anindita’s B2B ticket aggregator site OkeTiket. He then became a co-founder of an AI-powered chatbot, responsible for Botika’s business development and partnerships.

In 2011, Yang earned his master’s degree in Control Science and Engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology. From 2011 until January 2015, he worked as an electric vehicle project manager at Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. In June 2014, he co-founded Xpeng Motors with He Xiaopeng, Xia Heng and He Tao in Guangzhou. A self-described "data geek and new technology enthusiast," Manggala Ratulangie is the CEO and co-founder of data science service startup Datanest. He was previously an IT engineer and an SAP consultant, and has worked with various companies to build internal-use software. He met Thibaud Plaquet, who would become a co-founder at Datanest, when the two were hired to head a joint-venture between two marketing consultancy companies. After the project wound down, Manggala and Thibaud established Datanest in 2017.

Manuel Moreno is a telecommunication engineer with a passion for software development. Moreno is also a serial entrepreneur. In 2006 he co-founded Noaris with his business partner, Julio Pernía Aznar. Noaris specialized in SaaS and cloud computing for the insurance sector and Reparanet, a Noaris spin-off, which became the biggest SaaS platform for repair companies in Spain. More recently, he co-founded, also with Pernía Aznar, Bdeo, an intelligence platform for underwriting and claims process, which he led in the role of CTO.

There, she supervised the Group’s investments in internet startups. With seed funding from the Group in 2009, Chen and Yu Jianjun founded their first startup, Na Li Shi Jie, building online virtual city maps. Though the business failed after two years, they utilised the rich experience they gained and founded the much more successful Ximalaya in 2012.

Ex-WPP’s youngest head Kevin Mintaraga’s career started when he founded digital agency Magnivate in 2008. In 2012, the company was acquired by WPP, and was renamed to XM Gravity and later Mirum Agency. Kevin remained as CEO of the company post-acquisition, and at 27 years old became the youngest head within WPP’s global network. He moved to a chairman role in 2014 to start Bridestory. Kevin was an avid gamer and had no business or digital media background prior to launching Magnivate. He was born in 1985.
