Guan Ke has nearly 20 years of work experience in the media industry. He was the general manager of Shenzhen Jusiwei Advertising Co Ltd. He was also a former stockholder of Shenzhen One Media Investment Holdings Limited. He founded QinLin Technology in Shenzhen in 2015.

Yao Guangshi is a well-known game distributor and angel investor in the gaming industry. Born in 1972, he graduated from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology in 1992. He studied for an EMBA in Renmin University of China from 2011 to 2013. In 1995, he joined the edible oil manufacturer Luhua Group, where he was in charge of import and export management. He founded Jinshi Software in 1997. In 2003, he became the exclusive distributor of many prominent gaming companies like Tencent and Shengqu Games in Shandong province. In 2008, he founded Xinhe Technology as an exclusive distributor for top games including Genghis Khan and Shumen. He invested in the online game developer Locojoy in 2011 and joined the company in 2013. In 2018, he co-founded Beijing Code View Technology, which launched Reworld in 2019.

Shenzhen-based Tiantu Capital manages over RMB 6 billion, spread across six RMB-denominated funds and one USD-denominated fund. The 30-plus-strong team also has offices in Shanghai and Beijing. It focuses on growth-stage consumer goods companies, particularly in the Series C round of financing. In 2015, it financed 22 startups, with total funding amounting to RMB 2.5 billion. Tiantu Capital was founded in 2002.

The VC arm of one of Japan's largest internet and media companies, CyberAgent Ventures specializes in the Internet-related industry. It invests in startups at various stages from the seed stage. CyberAgent has 10 offices in 8 countries mainly in Asia, including Jakarta, Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.

Founded in 2007, the Shenzhen-based CDF Capital runs a RMB 4.2 billion PE fund for investments in new materials, new IT, consumer, cleantech and healthcare tech sectors. It has backed over 120 companies to date.

A spinoff from Chinese investment bank China International Capital Corp, CDH has its roots in private equity. It started in 2002, raising its first fund of US$102 million. As of end-2015, it had over US$15 billion in assets under management, spanning private equity, public equities, real estate and more. It has invested in more than 150 companies, including WH Group, Belle International, Mengniu Dairy, Qihoo 360 and Luye Pharma; and has offices in Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Singapore and Jakarta.

Beijing Kunlun Tech Co., Ltd. (Kunlun) is a Beijing-based gaming, fintech and software company founded in 2008. It went public on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2015. In 2016, Kunlun acquired a 60% stake in Grindr. It now invests primarily in sectors such as social networking, live streaming, IoT and AI. Four of the companies in which it invested - Qudian, Yinke, Opera and Ruhan - have gone public as of April 2019. 

Founded by Li Shujun, the former CFO of Shengda, in 2006, Trustbridge Partners is a venture capital and private equity firm focusing on growth-stage and expansion-stage investments in Chinese companies in new energy, environmental protection, new materials, new media, retailing, healthcare, education, e-commerce, etc. The sources of its funds come mainly from university foundations in the US (such as Columbia University, Stanford University, New York University), world-renowned investment firms (Temasek Holdings, Kerry Group, etc.), and private investors.

Shenzhen-based QF Capital was founded by investment veteran Fu Zhekuan, a former partner of Fortune Capital. It manages about RMB 1.5 billion spread across eight VC funds and one NEEQ fund.

Lin Hai majored in Materials Science and Engineering at Tsinghua University and holds an EMBA from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). He co-founded A8 Digital Music in 2000, which later became one of the largest digital music platforms in China. Lin is currently the secretary-general of CEIBS Alumni Mobile Club’ southern offices and the president of Shenzhen Nanshan Cultural & Creative Industry Association.

One of the earliest VC/PE firms in China, Shenzhen GTJA Investment focuses on the healthcare/biotech industry. It manages about RMB 10 billion and has invested in more than 100 companies since its inception in 2001.

Established in 2000 and led by Chauncey Shey (Xue Cunhe), the SoftBank-backed VC/PE firm manages over US$2 billion, focusing on companies in the TMT, cleantech, healthcare, consumer/retail and advanced manufacturing sectors. Notable investments include Alibaba, Focus Media Holding, Wanguo Data, Shenwu Group, GDS, PPLive and Yooli.

Well-known entrepreneur Yu Minhong and Sheng Xitai, a senior investment banker, co-founded Aplus Capital in November 2014. In November 2017, Aplus Capital formally changed its name to  Hongtai Capital Holdings. By the end of 2018, the assets under its management have amounted to over RMB 20 billion. Hongtai Capital Holdings mainly invests in startups in various stages of growth and focuses on sectors of artificial intelligence, big data, consumer products, entertainment, education, manufacturing and fintech. 

Highly successful in the Middle East, Jolly Information Technology is a Chinese cross-border e-commerce company that sells products to over 175 territories with over 20 million registered users. It currently has branches or local operating teams in Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, the Silicon Valley, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Dubai. Its online shopping app Jolly is the best-known app in the Middle East.
