Xavi Beumala is a telecommunication engineer with a track record of extensive international and editorial positions in tech-related media. He was Technical Architect in Adobe Systems when he left in 2011 with a vision to create a company that could innovate the online media industry and its consumption across new and emerging devices.  He invested his savings to bootstrap and start up Marfeel, a mobile ad-tech company with offices in Barcelona and New York, where he is currently co-founder and CEO.

James Wiryadi graduated in 2014 from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. The chemical engineer went on to read a master's in Real Estate at New York University.He gained work experience in finance through internships at OCBC, PwC and other financial advisory firms before returning to Indonesia in 2017. In 2018, he became an analyst at CapitaLand Indonesia, a local branch of the Singapore real estate developer. In June 2019, he left CapitaLand to focus on building the new equity crowdfunding platform CrowdDana.

Ezhil Subbian studied industrial biotechnology at Anna University in India. She then went to the US to complete two PhDs in biochemistry, biophysics and molecular biology at the Oregon Health & Science University and from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey-New Brunswick. She was a research assistant at both universities.While in the US, she was also a research scientist at Gevo Inc and at Vollum Institute. In 2008, she became a scientist and technical lead at pharma Codexis in California. In 2011, she worked at San Francisco-based Kumar Investments as an entrepreneur and biotech consultant.In 2012, she founded biotech startup String Inc while on a nine-month Startup Leadership Program in Silicon Valley. In June 2013, she and husband returned to India and formed a new company String Bio to continue working on the alternative protein powder project for animal feed production.

Luis Manent is a co-founder and CEO of Wide Eyes, a visual search engine for the fashion and retail industry. Manent had previously managed and consulted with both large companies and SMEs across a variety of industry sectors, from healthcare and logistics to retail and fashion. Manent holds an Executive MBA from Spain's IESE business school.

C Ventures has invested in Moda Operandi, an American fashion startup, Flont, luxury jewelry rental service, among others.He invested in American AI startup ObEN and Chinese cooking video platform Daydaycook, etc, through K11.He also invested in Aibee, Hua Medicine and Xiaohongshu as individual investor.

A co-founder of virtual restaurant business Hangry, Robin Tan is new to the F&B business. He is, however, not new to the world of tech startups and entrepreneurship. Between 2017 and 2019, he worked as the CTO of P2P lending startup Taralite. After Taralite was acquired by Lippo-affiliated mobile payment company OVO, he became a product lead within OVO’s ecosystem. In September 2019, he and Taralite co-founder Abraham Viktor, who had also joined OVO, decided to establish Hangry. In 2013, he became a director of his family’s 100-year-old Paringahau Farm Company in New Zealand. He also co-founded a virtual fencing startup for livestock management, Vence Corp, with US-based investment banker Frank Wooten in 2016.After graduating in forestry engineering in 1995, Holdsworth obtained a master’s in engineering management at his alma mater University of Canterbury. In 1998, he completed a master’s in applied finance at Macquarie University and started his banking career at WestLB and Deutsche Bank in Sydney.He completed an entrepreneurship development program run by MIT’s Sloan School of Management in 2010. He has also undertaken an advanced management program run by Harvard Business School in 2012.Since 2004, he has been working as the CEO of New Zealand-based Pultron Composites Ltd, an industrial technology company focused on the development and manufacture of glass fiber-reinforced polymers.In 2019, he became the chairman and co-founder of Mateenbar Ltd to produce composite reinforcement for infrastructure building materials in New Zealand, North Carolina and Saudi Arabia.

The Craftory is a London-based investment house with a satellite office in San Francisco. Founded in 2018 by retail and media industry veterans Ernesto Schmitt and Ellio Leoni Sceti, the firm has made seven investments in various consumer goods brands. Sceti is also the chairman of London-based family VC firm LSG Holdings, with his brother Patrick as the MD.The Craftory’s $375m fund specializes in building a new investment house of consumer brands, hence its name from the words, “craft" and “factory.” It mainly offers permanent and growth capital to consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands. The Craftory supports CPG challenger brands to help them to grow from “craft” businesses to sustainable, mass CPG brands, offering consumers better choices for everyday products.

Previously employed at Haier, LG, Siemens, Goodyear and Johnson Controls, Ma Xiaolong has spent five years in the auto parts market, on top of many years in retail management.

Co-founder of VUE Vlog, Li Zaolu graduated from Beijing University of Technology in computer science although she was more interested in business management. Upon graduation, she worked in business development for Nokia, NetEase and Wandoujia. She was one of the founding partners of NetEase's Youdao dictionary. In Wandoujia, she led the business development team to bring in new users.  Some 700,000 new users started to use the app everyday compared to only 10,000 a day when she started. From 2014 to 2015, Wandoujia's business share was taken by tech giants. In 2016, Li Zaolu left Wandoujia and co-founded VUE.

Squirrel AI co-founder Jeff Wang Feng started as an academic. He received his PhD in instructional technology from the University of Georgia in 2006. He then conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Pennsylvania from 2006–2007 and the University of Virginia from 2007–2008.Wang was Director of Distance Education at Mount Saint Mary College in New York state from 2008–2011. From 2011–2014, he was Director of John Jay Online, in the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, part of the City University of New York, In 2015, Wang returned to China and joined Squirrel AI as a co-founder. In 2016, he left Squirrel AI and founded his own adaptive learning startup, Learnta Inc, of which he is CEO.
