Co-founder and CEO of Warung Pintar
Agung Bezharie Hadinegoro is co-founder and CEO of smart retail kiosk startup Warung Pintar. Agung had previously co-founded two creative agencies in Bandung, where he was a multimedia designer and was the program director of the Global Entrepreneurship Program Indonesia. He was also an associate at East Ventures, taking on the role of interim general manager of the company's coworking extension, EV Hive. Before establishing Portofolio, Gigih Iski was a lead engineer at Etsuri Ltd., a UK-based news aggregator service that runs the fashion marketing website Miignon in Indonesia. Prior to that, he worked as a software engineer for various companies, and his track record includes developing software for trading and brokerage companies. In 2018, together with former derivatives broker Mahar Indra, he developed Portofolio as a platform for rookie investors to learn about currency trading and copy the strategies of more experienced traders.

Manuel Moreno is a telecommunication engineer with a passion for software development. Moreno is also a serial entrepreneur. In 2006 he co-founded Noaris with his business partner, Julio Pernía Aznar. Noaris specialized in SaaS and cloud computing for the insurance sector and Reparanet, a Noaris spin-off, which became the biggest SaaS platform for repair companies in Spain. More recently, he co-founded, also with Pernía Aznar, Bdeo, an intelligence platform for underwriting and claims process, which he led in the role of CTO.

All the selected participants will have the chance to work for one year with at least one of the 10 global energy utilities that form the Free Electrons consortium. Another Beta-i event is The Journey, the first accelerator in Portugal dedicated to tourism tech startups from all over the world. Launched in partnership with the government's Portugal Tourism in 2017, the Lisbon-based program is part of the national Tourism 4.0 plan. The five-month program is now in its third edition and gives successful applicants the opportunity to develop pilot projects with Portuguese companies like the Vila Galé hotel chain, Barraqueiro transport company and Parques de Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

McClatchey is currently a non-executive director of DegreeArt Ltd, the London Distillery, UPP Group Holdings Ltd, RADA Enterprises Ltd and Uniplaces. He earned his Master’s in Economics from King’s College London in 1987. He also worked at KPMG in London as Assistant Manager - Audit and Special Investigations.
