East Ventures co-founder Willson Cuaca graduated from Bina Nusantara University with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He worked at Singapore-based Red Sentry, a cyber security and network performance optimization company. In 2010 he co-founded East Ventures, a seed-early stage venture capital firm. That same year, he also co-founded Apps Foundry, a mobile company that developed the e-reader app SCOOP, among other things.

Founded in 2010, Fidelity China Special Situations PLC (FCSS) is managed by Dale Nicholls who has worked at Fidelity International since 1996. It has invested in more than 50 domestic consumer internet and enterprise IT companies. It has been the first institutional investor or founding investor in 80% of its investments.

Amir Amiruddin graduated from Erasmus University in the Netherlands in 1994 and the University of Western Australia in 2011. Amir was formerly the managing director of AAA Securities, a director at Deutsche Bank Singapore and the managing director of Nomura Singapore. He is currently a partner at business and management consultancy Pascal Capital Asia in Singapore. Amir became a co-founder of Investree in October 2015.

Adrianus Hitijahubessy was trained in Mechatronics, graduating in 2006 from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's and master's in Mechanical Engineering. On graduation, he worked at banking firm Capital One, leaving in 2012 for eBay and later Cignifi, where he became head of product for credit scoring and marketplace lending. He left Cignifi in 2016, returning to Indonesia to establish microlending startup JULO the following year.

In 2011, the China Culture Industrial Investment Fund was founded by the Ministry of Finance, BOC International Holdings Limited, China International Television Corporation and Shenzhen International Cultural Industry Fair Co., Ltd. It has RMB 20 billion in assets under management. The fund has invested more than RMB 3.5 billion in 40 startups and projects.

Established in Beijing on January 12, 1996, China Minsheng Banking Corporation Limited was China’s first national joint-stock commercial bank established mainly by non-state-owned enterprises. As of June 2017, it had total assets worth RMB 5767.2 billion. The firm now employs around 57,000 people at nearly 3,000 branches, sub-branches and outlets. It was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2000 and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2009.

Chenshan Asset Management was founded in 2016 by Jiang Jian, Edward Tian (Tian Suning) and Chen Haofei. Jiang is also the partner of China Broadband Capital and has led its investments in Dianping, Tujia, Babytree, etc. Tian is the board chairman of China Broadband Capital, founder of Nasdaq-listed AsiaInfo and former CEO of China Netcom Corporation. Chen is the managing director of China International Capital Corp (CICC).

Cambridge and Stanford graduate Adrian Li was born in London to parents from Hong Kong and Malaysia. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Cambridge University and an MBA from Stanford University. He is currently a board member of dating startup Paktor, media company MBDC, female online community Female Daily Network, technology development company Imaginato and food social network startup Qraved. He is also the founding and managing partner of venture capital firm Convergence Ventures.

Ahmad Rizqy Akbar is the CEO and CFO of Growpal, an investment crowdfunding platform for aquaculture and fishery projects. A graduate of Aquaculture studies from Indonesia’s Universitas Brawijaya, he has run his own fish and shrimp farm and had worked at Pertamina Dana Ventura, a venture capital fund owned by national oil and gas firm Pertamina. In 2017, he joined fellow Brawijaya graduate Paundra Noorbaskoro to establish Growpal.

With an educational background in finance and business, Xu spent seven years working in investment banking upon graduating from Columbia University in 2005. She worked at Deutsche Bank and Macquarie Capital in Hong Kong, where she helped major Chinese e-commerce companies such as Vipshop, Moonbasa and Alibaba with their overseas IPOs, among other financial needs. She is a CFA Charterholder. Xu founded Shanghai Qiansong Internet Technology Co., Ltd., the parent company of MSParis, in 2014.

Daocin Capital was established in 2015 by Wu Bin, a founding shareholder of NYSE-listed e-commerce site VIP.com. In 2017, Daocin Capital was listed among China's top 30 new equity investment institutions by Zero2IPO Group, a Chinese entrepreneurial and investment services platform.

Formerly Fidelity Growth Partners, the renamed Eight Roads Ventures is the investment arm of Fidelity International Limited. In China for over 20 years, it counts among its successful investments/exits Alibaba, WuXi PharmaTech, AsiaInfo and iSoftStone. It focuses on early- and growth-stage companies across eight broad sectors.

Miguel Silva-Constenla is a serial entrepreneur, investor and scientist. He has a master's in Physics and has worked for over 20 years in a wide variety of fields, including IT, venture capital and private equity. His passion for AI machine learning technologies led him to co-found Allread MLT in 2019. He is now the CEO of Allread MLT, which, through computer vision technology, character recognition and deep MLT, converts text, codes and symbols into big data.
