Founder and CEO of Orori
George Sumantri was born into a 60-year old family jewelry business. A graduate from Universitas Tarumanegara in Jakarta, George decided that the jewelry business was in his blood. Armed with a professional accreditation in Diamonds and Colored Stones Grading from the Gemological Institute of America, he finally realized his dream of owning a jewelry business, PT Orori Indonesia, in 2002. He launched Orori’s online store in 2006, the first online jewelry store in Indonesia. Encouraged by the success of the online business, he closed down all of the Orori offline stores in 2012 to become a fully online business.

With the innovative C2B2F (Customer to Business to Farm) business model he came up with, Fresh Market survived the winter for venture capital funding in China in 2016, and is today the leading fresh food e-commerce platform in East China.Zhang Hongliang (b. 1975) embarked on his journey as a serial entrepreneur after five years in the financial management sector and six years in the automobile industry. The persistent Suzhou native founded Fresh Market (Shihang Shengxian) in 2011 at aged 36, after several tries in three years.

A graduate from Trinity College Dublin in Ireland, Ian McKenna had worked for Ericsson (Hutchison Australia) and Vodafone before joining the University of Indonesia to learn the local language in 2010. Based in Jakarta, he joined Fusion Payments in 2011 as country manager and also became its VP of Product and Marketing in 2013.Ian had also co-founded online directory BangArif in 2014 and an on-site customer support service named “What the FAQ” in 2017. He exited both ventures and also left Fusion Payments to focus on establishing PT Infra Digital Indonesia.

Ferran Blanché majored in Aeronautical Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in 2014. He completed an MBA course on Air Transportation at the Aeronautical Business School ITAérea in 2013. He also helped ITAérea to launch courses in Latin America and Asia.Ferran Blanché is a certified SCRUM product owner. Agile and SCRUM work strategies were implemented in Waynabox, leading to a 50% improvement in SEO organic traffic. Blanché is now a board member and chief product officer for Waynabox. He has also just started a Computer Engineering degree at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya in 2018.

In 2017, he co-founded Tiantian Xuenong with Zhao Guang, a friend from university, and became the company's chairman. Yan received his bachelor's degree in Electronics from Sun Yat-sen University in 2006 and his MBA from Hong Kong Baptist University in 2010.

Rafael de Alemar Vidal is based in Santa Caterina in Brazil, as the CTO and a co-founder of Sheetgo. He had previously worked for five years as an IT analyst in London UK. He also specialized in Business Information Technology at the South Bank University while in London. After graduating in 2011, he became a Microsoft certified professional in 2013. He returned to Brazil and worked as a systems analyst at Moon Tools and Abramar Construtora. Both companies were co-founded and run by fellow co-founder Yannick Rault van der Vaart.

In 2009 Boris Sanjaya graduated in Industrial and System Engineering at the University of Washington, USA. He worked for one year as an intern at Boeing Commercial Airplanes in Seattle. He worked as a business analyst at Amazon for four months before joining a Distribution Management Program at General Electric in 2010. He left GE and returned to Indonesia to work as a consultant for BCG in 2012. Together with Hendi Chandi, Boris co-founded telecoms startup Kokatto in 2014. He later left BCG in 2016 to join Hendi to establish PT Advotics Teknologi Global as CEO.

He left the company in 2017 to establish logistics service startup Pakde.

In 2017, he became the company's CTO.

He exited the online business in 2016.In 2018, Valente joined INESC Technology and Science as a researcher in project management, procurement & supply chains. In May 2019, he left to work as a business manager for seven months at Portuguese startup Veniam. Valente left Veniam to focus full-time as CEO and co-founder of iLoF.

Cheese connoisseur, Lin Fengru, was unable to find milk that allowed her to make high-quality cheese. During her search around dairy farms in Asia, she realized that the poor quality of the milk was due to animal hygiene issues and the use of antibiotics and hormones on cows. The lack of quality dairy milk options inspired her to co-found TurtleTree Labs in January 2019 to create milk using stem cells.Lin graduated in information systems management and marketing in 2011 at Singapore Management University (SMU). In 2011, she joined Collis Asia as an account manager and left in 2014 to work at Salesforce in sales and business development. She joined Google Singapore in 2018 and worked as a territory account manager for Google Cloud Platform until June 2019. In 2020, she completed an MIT course in the science and business of biotechnology.
