Miguel Caballero is a serial entrepreneur with about 18 years experience building tech companies in the infrastructure, edtech and blockchain ecosystems. He co-founded Neomedia Wireless, an engineering firm specialized in wireless infrastructure, which provided consultancy services to the city councils of Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Zaragoza and IT companies like Indra and Orange.Since 2013, he is the founder and CEO of Tutellus.com, an edtech P2P platform in Spanish-speaking countries. More recently, he co-launched Tutellus.io, an innovative, decentralized blockchain-powered edtech platform that tokenizes the education system based on collaborative and incentive-based models. 

Tuomas Knowles is co-founder of Britain’s Xampla, producer of plant-based biodegradable plastics made from protein, which was founded in 2018 based on his team’s pioneering research.  Knowles is a professor of physical chemistry and biophysics at Cambridge University, where he has worked since 2010 and manages the Knowles Lab which focuses on researching protein self-assembly underlying neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. Knowles holds a PhD in Biophysics from the University of Cambridge and a degree in physics from ETH Zurich, a science and technology university. 

Sean Liao has founded three software development centers in Asia, including Rocket Internet China. He is currently CEO of Imaginato, a technology development company that he founded. Sean is based in China.

Christopher Mortensen is co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at UK-based Modulous, the first end-to-end generative design and delivery solution for affordable, sustainable and modulized housing, where he has worked since 2018.  Before that, he worked for two years as technical director at engineering, sustainability and energy consultancy Hydrock. Previously, he was at Atelier Ten for ten years working as a senior engineer, an environmental design consultant, a building services engineer and a lighting designer. Mortensen’s previous posts were all in his native US: as a mechanical project engineer at Oregon-based Interface Engineering 2004-8, as a mechanical designer at Philadelphia-based Associated Engineering Consultants, and as an assistant hut master at the Appalachian Mountain Club. He holds an Executive MBA from Cass Business School in London and also studied Blockchain in 2018 at the University of Oxford’s Said Business School Mortensen is a keen public speaker and, in 2017, gave a TedX talk on ’Beyond Sustainable Design.’

Albert Bellonch is computer science engineer based in Barcelona. He is teacher and mentor in Ironhack, a coding bootcamp in web development, UX/UI design and data analytics.He has been involved in the founding and development of Itnig, a startup accelerator based in Barcelona. In this capacity, he has covered the roles of software engineer and CTO and today is one of Itnig's partners.In 2013, he co-founded Quipu, a cloud SaaS tool that automates invoicing and cash management for freelancers, SMEs and accounting firms. He covered the role of CTO until end of 2018, when he became VP of Engineering. 

Hoffman is the COO and co-founder of Spanish AI-enhanced insurtech SingularCover, where he has worked since 2018. He previously worked as COO for Spain-based gaming startup Playtomic and in Indonesia as the CEO and founder of e-commerce startup eTailwind, a partner of Lazada Group. Previously, he worked in Indonesia as the Vice-President of Strategy at Alibaba Group and in management positions covering southern Europe for Berlin-based Zalando, Europe’s leading online fashion platform.Hoffman holds a master’s degree from Madrid’s Carlos III University in International Business Management, with exchange program participation in Switzerland and Brazil.  

Ramkumar Nair graduated in biotechnology at the Cochin University of Science and Technology in Kerala before going to Sweden for postgrad studies in 2013.During his PhD in industrial biotechnology at the University of Borås, he embarked on a research project to create fungi-based proteins from discarded sidestreams generated by food producers. After extensive research in 2017, he founded Mycorena in Gothenburg to produce mycoproteins using fermentation technology.The startup’s first commercial product, Promyc, is now being sold to global food companies as a more sustainable and nutritional alt-protein compared to traditional plant-based proteins.

Ruiz was 15 when he founded his first startup, Enfilio, mixing magic and software engineering. Enfilio was sold in 2014 and is now one of the most recognized magic companies globally. He also co-founded Lymbit Technological Company, an IoT company for object tracking and location-based advertising. As a researcher at Rovira i Virgili University, he designed and published technology to protect online votes, and co-designed end-to-end encryption and an access control protocol, Attribute-Based Encryption.Today, he’s the CTO and co-founder of Place to Plug, a smart cities platform that connects electric vehicle (EV) drivers with charging stations of individuals, businesses and public institutions.

In October of 2020, it invested RMB 100m into Beijing Immunochina Pharmaceutical, which develops innovative gene and cell therapies for curing malignant tumors. Longmen also provides mentoring and other expertise and support to its investee startups, especially those that plan to seek public listing.

The founder of Nasdaq-listed computer-based testing services firm ATA Education Group and Zhihuitianxia (Intelligent World), a supplier of science experiment kits and teaching materials for schools and kindergartens, Ma Xiaofeng is an economics graduate of Nanjing University.

Romill Bettany is co-founder and Chief Business Development Officer at UK-based Modulous, the first end-to-end generative design and delivery solution for affordable, sustainable and modulized housing, where he has worked since 2018.  He was simultaneously director and co-founder at engineering consultancy Optimise, based in London and Dubai, where he worked  2012-20, and where the concept for Modulous was conceived. Prior to this, he worked for nine years at engineers Ramboll, part of the WhitbyBird group and was previously was a fire safety engineer at Australian engineering consultant WSP for almost four years. Bettany has worked on building projects globally ranging from airports to theaters.  

Tom Szirtes is co-founder and CTO at UK-based VR edtech for soft-skills training Bodyswaps, where he has worked since the start of 2020. Prior to that, he was managing director at London-based AR and VR design startup Mbryonic, where he worked for almost seven years. Before Mbryonic, he was project manager at Orange for almost three years, where he worked in gamification at the giant’s R&D lab in London.Szirtes also worked for six years at SEGA Europe in game development and as a developer and a contractor in other organizations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Bristol in the UK.
