Liu Xi holds a doctoral degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University. He participated in the development of Apache Spark, an open-source cluster-computing framework. He used to work at Conviva, an American company offering solutions for online video optimization and online video analytic. There, he developed a system for big data analytics applicable to video streams, which has been used by TV networks, such as ESPN, HBO and China Central Television. His research focuses on cloud computing and big data analytics for video streams.

Zeng Binhuang is an executive director at Shenzhen Tianyuan Real Estate Consulting Co Ltd. He is also the board chairman of Shenzhen Baiwangda Industrial Company Limited and Seven Gomall (Shenzhen) Network Technology Co Ltd. He founded Zhongzheng Information in 2015 and currently serves as its chairman and general manager.

Alvaro Polo Valdenebro is a co-founder of Coinffeine, a decentralized P2P bitcoin exchange platform and the first cryptocurrency project to be backed by a bank, Bankinter. Today he is Principal Software Development Engineer at Cabify. He has previously held positions as a Software Engineer at JobandTalent and in the R&D department of Telefonica. Valdenebro has also been a professor at Rey Juan Carlos University, teaching subjects including Networking, Distributed Software Architectures, Distributed Multimedia Services, Operating Systems and Foundations of Programming. 

Sebastián Ortega is a Computer Science Engineer and co-founder of Coinffeine, a P2P bitcoin exchange platform and the first cyrptocurrency project to be backed a bank, Bankinter.Currently he works as a Data Engineer at Letgo. From 2011 to 2014 he worked in R&D for Telefonica, and has also worked as a Data Engineer at JobandTalent.According to his LinkedIn profile, Ortega hosts a software development podcast and publishes a tech and coding blog in his free time. 

Joaquín Guanter Gonzálbez, also known as Ximo, is a co-founder and former CTO of Coinffeine, a P2P bitcoin exchange platform backed by Bankinter .He has a degree in Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPC) with a specialization in Language Theory and AI.  For more than six years he worked as a Software Developer at Microsoft and since 2012 he's been working for the R&D department at Telefónica. His expertize and interests are focused on programming languages, AI and statistics. 

Alberto Gómez Toribio is a computer engineer and an influential blockchain expert in Spain. In 2013, he co-founded Coinffeine, a P2P cryptocurrency exchange platform and the first to on-board a banking investor. Coinffeine consulted institutions including the Bank of Spain, the US Federal Reserve and the European Commission during development of the platform. In 2015, Toribio established the blockchain division within the Barrabés Group to launch blockchain startups projects. He has also worked as a technology expert for Sony Entertainment and Telefonica R&D. Currently he is working on projects developing blockchain strategies to identify business opportunities and new innovative product design.

Ex-United Nations employee Muhamad Fajrin Rasyid holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Informatics Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology. As a student, he and BukaLapak co-founder Achmad Zaky opened a noodle shop near their dorm. Previous to BukaLapak, he had worked at Indosat, the United Nations and The Boston Consulting Group. He also co-founded Suitmedia, a digital agency that develops websites for companies such as HijUp.com and MasukNegeri.com.

After a brief career in banking, Spencer Deng co-founded the logistics robotics startup Dorabot and became its CEO. The economics graduate from Sun Yat-sen University was an associate at JP Morgan before joining UPS, where he rose to become a manager for the Asia-Pacific region. He joined Dorabot in 2015, and was featured in Forbes China’s 30 Under 30 in 2017 and 2018. 

A co-founder of Dorabot, Zhou Dandan has more than 10 years experience in software development. The former chief software engineer of video game maker Gameloft met fellow Dorabot co-founder Zhao Hao at Chaihuo Makerspace, Shenzhen’s first and leading maker/hackerspace. 

The person who introduced the concept of “maker” to China – even coining its Chinese translation (“chuangke”), which has since taken root in the Chinese language. Today, Zhang Hao (b. 1987) is founder and CTO of logistics robotics startup Dorabot.After studying robotics at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, he joined leading MOOC platform Guokr as a Science and Technology editor. He then became Puzzlebox’s chief hardware architect in San Francisco, later overseeing the manufacturing of Puzzlebox Orbit in Shenzhen. In 2014, he started Dorabot. Zhang was featured in Forbes China’s 30 Under 30 in 2017.

Kang Hongwen earned his doctoral degree in Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University from August 2006 to December 2012. Prior to that, he was a research intern for more than a year at Microsoft Research Asia, during which time he worked on video content analysis, video synthesis, and was part of a team that was awarded a US patent for spacetime montage. An algorithm he worked on was shipped into the Windows XP Media Center Edition. Kang subsequently interned at Intel Research Seattle and Microsoft Research Redmond. In December 2013, he founded Hunch.ai, the company that created the AI-based, cloud video platform Zen Video.   

With an EMBA from Peking University, Zhao Hongqi has worked in the communications industry for 15 years at Huawei and Datang Telecom Technology & Industry Group. He held roles such as senior executive in product R&D, quality control, services and marketing. He founded CloudYoung as CEO in Beijing in 2013.

Yan Feng holds a master's degree in Computer Science from the China Ship Research and Development Academy. He also has an EMBA from Peking University. Yan worked at Hanvon Technology before co-founding CloudYoung as CTO in 2013.

Shen Peng had first tried founding a startup while studying finance at Beijing's Central University of Finance and Economics from 2006 to 2010. In 2009, he joined Meituan – now known as Meituan Dianping – as its tenth employee. At the age of 23, he was in charge of Meituan's group buying business in north China. Shen was also a key player when Meituan expanded into the food delivery business. He received his master's degree in retail management from the Neoma Business School through a partnership with the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing. He founded Waterdrop in 2016 and has served as its CEO since.

Yang Guang studied Mathematics at the University of Waterloo from 2005 to 2010. He returned to China in 2010 and worked at Deloitte from 2010 to 2013, China eCapital Corporation from 2013 to 2015 and Meituan Dianping's strategic investment unit from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, he co-founded Waterdrop and is now the general manager of Waterdrop Insurance Mall.
