A former product manager at Google HQ and director of product at AdChina, Wang Yi was an electrical engineering major at Tsinghua University, and holds a PhD in computer science from Princeton University.

He and his co-founders started developing Akseleran in 2016 and launched an early version in March 2017.Ivan earned a Master's degree in Law & Finance from Queen Mary University of London. His thesis was on the topic of crowdfunding and became part of the inspiration behind establishing Akseleran.

Robin Lazendra is the CEO and co-founder of Oper Indonesia, a designated-driver services platform. He previously founded the Indonesian social media app GetFolks. He studied IT at Bina Nusantara university in Jakarta.

Islamic finance and marketing expert Else Fernanda earned his bachelor’s in Accounting from Universitas Indonesia, the national university; a master’s in Finance from the University of Strathclyde; and a certificate in Human Resources from Atma Jaya University. After working in the finance industry, he founded an Islamic finance and marketing consulting company in 2004. In 2011, he co-founded the Paramadina Islamic Management Institute (PIMI). He co-founded FAST8, a human resources tech company, in 2008 with his wife, Afia Fitriati. They also founded Gadjian, an HR management SaaS startup. Today, Else is also a lecturer at Paramadina University and a member of Sharia Supervisory Board for four companies.

Tovan Krisdianto started his career as an auditor at KPMG Indonesia before moving on to work at Schlumberger. After graduating in 2003 from the Prasetiya Mulya Business School with a master’s in Management, he worked as a CFO at PT Trouw Nutrition Indonesia (Nutreco) and also at Coda Payments. He co-founded an online education services provider HarukaEdu in February 2013. He is the CFO of PT Haruka Edukasi Utama. He also runs his own business as the founder of TTT Coaching and Consulting. He had also worked as an associate lecturer at Binus Business School in 2014.

Ferry Tenka was the brains behind Indonesian online childcare products marketplace Bilna that later merged with Thai e-commerce giant Moxy to form Orami. He is currently Orami’s executive chairman and also heads its Indonesian operations as CEO of Bilna Indonesia.He briefly worked at SanDisk as a systems design engineer before setting up daily deals website Disdus.com that later became Groupon Indonesia. He was Groupon Indonesia’s CEO before he left in 2012 to start Bilna. Ferry read a degree in Electrical Engineering at Purdue University, USA, where he met up with Jason Lamuda, a co-founder of Disdus.com, Bilna and Berrybenka.

Patrick Williamson was the co-founder, CEO and director of Otobro Media Pte Ltd.  The car dealership platform Otobro was sold to the C88 Group in March 2017. He is now an executive at SEA Online & TMT, an online media company in Singapore.A graduate in Applied Science Engineering from the University of Waterloo in Canada, Patrick also pursued a master’s in International Business at INSEAD in 2002. He has worked in Singapore at Yahoo! Southeast Asia and also at Unity Technologies. In 2013, he was in Jakarta with PT Kreatif Media Karya before founding Otobro in 2015.

Graduating in 2007 as a civil engineer, Liliana Marques completed a PhD in Steel and Mixed Construction Technologies in 2012 at the University of Coimbra in Portugal. She was a visiting assistant professor and researcher at her alma mater until June 2018.Before co-founding agtech CoolFarm in 2014, Marques had established mobile software development company CoolApps in 2012 with CoolFarm co-founders João Igor and Eduardo Esteves. She was CoolFarm's chief administrative officer in charge of fundraising campaigns until its closure in 2018.

After six years of building innovative products and new businesses in Singapore and India, Nigel Hembrow has made Indonesia his home and headquarters for Astronaut Technologies, his latest venture in HR tech. Hailing from Australia, Queensland civil engineer Nigel started out in project management and engineering design for construction company Mace. After an MBA from the University of Melbourne in 2009, he worked at The Great Little Water Company and Amida Recruitment. Nigel is also currently a director at Rayjon Group, a family-owned property investment and development conglomerate that was co-founded by managing director John Hembrow in 1976.

Natali Ardianto is a fast and skilled web developer with over 16 years of programming experience. He worked as an IT instructor and as a web developer while reading a degree in Computer Science and a master’s in Information Technology at Universitas Indonesia.He and colleagues had built a golf booking platform in just three months in 2010. He left Golfnesia in 2011 to help launch Tiket.com within 100 days of co-founding the startup. He had also co-founded Urbanesia in 2008, but left the urban lifestyle directory in 2010 before it was acquired by the Kompas Group in 2012.

Pablo Flores Peña pursued his undergraduate and master’s studies in aeronautical engineering at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. On graduation in 2005, he joined the Airbus Group where he is currently the chief engineer for the A320 jetliner family. Besides his work at Airbus, he also founded Drone Hopper and became its CEO in 2015. He received the 2017 award for aeronautical innovation from the Official Spanish Association of Aeronautical Engineers (COIAE) for his work at Drone Hopper, a startup dedicated to the design and manufacture of self-guided drones for fire extinction and large crops fumigation.

Todd Schweitzer is an experienced economic and management consultant who founded Brankas, a payment processing platform for startups and other businesses. Between 2007 and 2010, Schweitzer worked with the US Peace Corps as a community economic advisor in the Dominican Republic. He then joined Strategy&, a subsidiary of PwC, as an engagement manager before leaving in 2015 for a brief stint at Seawood Resources, a Philippines-based investment company.Todd holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from University of California, Irvine and a master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University.

Founder and CEO of ParkBox. Huang graduated from Zhejiang University with a bachelor’s in Engineering and Industrial Design. In 2016, she received her master’s in Management from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. She worked at P&G for almost four years and then at Philips for five years.
