After graduating from the University of Porto in 2004, André Moniz worked as a software engineer at companies such as Indra, Montepio Geral and Optimus Telecommunications. In 2017, the fullstack developer and product manager joined Untold Ventures to make various apps. In 2018, he became the CTO and co-founder of BetProtocol, together with Tradiio's Miguel Leite.The serial entrepreneur worked as Tradiio's CTO before becoming the music platform's co-founder in 2014. Previous ventures include Portugal's first dating site, amiguinhos.com (2002), software company Blip.pt (2009), WeGoOut (2012) and music festival tourism business Get a Fest (2013).

Ferrán Gutiérrez Vilaró has been an entrepreneur since 2008 with a successful track record in video-related technologies. Gutiérrez co-founded NPAW in 2008, where he is currently CEO; until 2014, he was Director of Product and Technology. He also co-founded video-on-demand (VOD) streaming service Wuaki.tv, now RakutenTC, in 2010. He continues to work at RakutenTV and Wuapi.com, a user-generated high-definition video site. He was also previously a senior developer at Atos Origin and Sclipo and systems architect for the Amuso project. Gutiérrez is a computer science graduate from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. 

Calling himself a serial entrepreneur, Edy Sulistyo has created and sold three tech startups. Founded in 2009, the event management platform eEvent was sold to US-based EnvisionPoint in 2013. Revenues were mainly earned from events held in USA. He also sold OW.com to Telepathy Inc and Kamus.net to Stand4 LLC. Other internet companies he built included FilesUpload, guestHub, Parking-Hub and CircleMail.Edy graduated in 2006 with a bachelor’s in Computer Science Engineering at the Ohio State University. He is also the managing director of S3 Tech Alliance, a startup incubator in Ohio, USA.

A Physics graduate from the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) in Indonesia, Jimmy Carter built a career in advertising technology. He worked at PT Antar Mitra Prakarsa, also known as M-STARS, as an IT developer and system analyst from 2006 to 2011. Jimmy later joined PT Numedia Global before moving on to homegrown adtech company Adplus as its manager for Research and Development. He left Adplus in June 2016 to become the CTO of Minutes Apps, previously Minutes Barber. Jimmy had teamed up with Angki Rinaldy to develop the Minutes Barber app in 2015.

Albert Lucius has worked in three Fortune 100 companies. After earning a master’s and a bachelor’s in Computer Science in the US, he started working as an analyst at Goldman Sachs from 2008 to 2010.He became a product engineer at Apple Inc for two years, before going home to work for the Boston Consulting Group in Jakarta in 2013. He also acquired two MBAs from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley and the London Business School. In 2014, he decided to establish PT Kudo Teknologi Indonesia with fellow UC Berkeley alumnus Agung Nugroho.

A self-taught cybersecurity enthusiast, Wenas Agusetiawan was able to hack into various Indonesian and Singaporean networks at a young age. Luckily, he was 16 and escaped with only a penalty fine whilst living with his family in Singapore. He left to study in Australia and eventually became an IT professional. Wenas graduated in 2008 with a bachelor’s in Computer Science from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, Canada. He founded software developer PhaseDev, gaming platform Bouncity and e-book distributor WayangForce. In 2011, he co-founded Tiket.com but stepped down as CEO after the acquisition by Blibli in 2017.

Founder and CEO of Meowcard, Larry Wang (Wang Lei) was born in 1991. After graduating from college in 2011, he joined a startup where he headed design and marketing. He also designed more than 10 WeChat mini programs*. Wang started Meowcard, a mini program-based social community for cat lovers as a hobby and it went viral.[1] *Small mobile apps (under 10MB) that can be downloaded and run within WeChat.

In 2014, Pau Sendra graduated in Aeronautical Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), where he worked as a research assistant for one academic year. He studied for one year at the Aeronautical Business School ITAérea in 2012, working there for almost two years until June 2014. He holds a private pilot license from the European Aviation Safety Agency.The 20-year old Sendra brainstormed the idea of surprise citybreaks “Wayna” while on holiday with two friends in 2013. Since then, Sendra has received several entrepreneurial awards, winning the Young Entrepreneurs National Contest in 2015.

Li studied Human Computer Interaction as an undergrad at Shandong University and later as a graduate student at Université Paris Sud, EIT ICT LABS Master School and Technische Universität Berlin. His first startup taught children English using one-on-one teaching methods and his second helped international students studying in France settle in. Before finishing his graduate studies, Li recognized the potential of a startup that teaches children coding. In 2014, he left his graduate program, giving up three master's degrees, to start Codemao with his classmate and business partner Sun Yue.

Alejandro Pons Ballester is a young entrepreneur and public speaker. In 2013, Pons worked for a few months as a trainee engineer at a Jamaican company in Kingston, while reading a degree in Industrial Engineering Management at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) . He also gained some work experience as a community officer at NGO Engineering Without Borders (EWB) in 2011. After his graduation in 2014, he decided to become an entrepreneur and co-founded Tuvalum, a web marketplace to buy and sell used bikes and accessories. He is currently the company’s CEO.

Dmitry Skorinko had worked in software development for 14 years before starting Eliport. His career as a tech entrepreneur in logistics began with Glovo, where he worked as CTO in 2015. He was responsible for building the technology for the on-demand delivery platform, hiring and managing a team of engineers. He previously worked in the Russian Federation as a software architect at various companies like Acronis, Galssoft, Kaspersky Lab and OKB SAPR. He graduated in MSc Mathematics at the Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2005.

Laku6 co-founder Shing Kae Heng graduated in Computing Communications and Media at the National University of Singapore. While studying, he also worked as a freelancer in web and graphic design, photography and videography. He has worked for over 10 years at Hobby King as a web developer until January 2016. After graduating in 2010, he joined TheMobileGamer, a gaming portal run by Alvin Yap for six years before Laku6 was founded. The computer programmer was promoted to CTO in 2012 and joined Alvin to establish Laku6 as the new company's CTO in 2015.

Italian Silvia Raga is CEO and co-founder of Spanish healthtech startup DyCare, which she began developing in May 2014 and formally founded in 2015. With a background in healthcare management, Raga previously worked at INDIBA in Barcelona as Senior Quality Engineer, Researcher and Product Engineer at Barcelona's Hospital San Pau's cardiology department and Quality Engineer at Italian medical device manufacturer CID in Vercelli. She holds a master's in Biomedical Engineering from Turin Polytechnic in Italy and an MBA from EAE Business School in Barcelona. 

In 2009 Boris Sanjaya graduated in Industrial and System Engineering at the University of Washington, USA. He worked for one year as an intern at Boeing Commercial Airplanes in Seattle. He worked as a business analyst at Amazon for four months before joining a Distribution Management Program at General Electric in 2010. He left GE and returned to Indonesia to work as a consultant for BCG in 2012. Together with Hendi Chandi, Boris co-founded telecoms startup Kokatto in 2014. He later left BCG in 2016 to join Hendi to establish PT Advotics Teknologi Global as CEO.

Pablo Rabanal holds a degree in Business Administration and Economics as well as one master's in Audiovisual Management and another in Internet Business.He started his career in the entertainment sector as a TV/movie producer and distributor for Esicma. He was CEO at Bwin and started a joint venture facilitating private investments in audiovisual products with British group Future Film.Since 2012, Rabanal has served as CEO and founder of Reclamador.es, a web platform that manages and automates consumer claims, which has over 25,000 clients and collected more than €40m in compensation for users to date.
