The person who introduced the concept of “maker” to China – even coining its Chinese translation (“chuangke”), which has since taken root in the Chinese language. From 2013 to 2015, he worked as a developer at edtech platform HarukaEDU and, from 2015 to 2016, he was CTO of Citizen Lab, a Belgian SaaS platform for smart cities to get feedback from the public. He returned to Indonesia in 2016 and co-founded Hacktiv8 with Ronald Ishak. He also has a master's in Information Technology from Universitas Indonesia.

He then returned to China and served as Ctrip's Data Director until June 2015. He founded CraiditX in December 2015.

Fonseca had been working on his technology since 2012 while working in other roles and founded Sound Particles in 2016. For almost 18 years, Fonseca was Program Coordinator for Digital Games and Multimedia at the Polytechnic University of Leiria. Simultaneously, for six years until 2018, Fonseca was a teacher of Music Technology at Lisbon's Higher School of Music. His educational achievements include a PhD in Computer Engineering in the area of audio production. He has also published two books and more than 20 academic papers on audio technology.

Upon graduation, he started his designing career at NetEase in 2007. However his career veered towards product management when, a year later, he joined Tencent in Allen Zhang's team (the team that later designed WeChat). In 2012, Kuang joined a startup, an Android app store called Wandoujia as Chief Product Officer. In late 2015, he left Wandoujia and, in 2016, started VUE with two colleagues, an app that both fits his interest in designing and experience in product.
