Álvaro Ortiz is a business angel with over 15 years of experience in the fields of User Experience, E-commerce, Communities, Online Marketing, Front-end development and Project Management.He founded Mumumío, an e-commerce platform that sold quality food directly from producers. Ortiz is currently the CEO and founder of Populate, a startup that builds tools and platforms for civic engagement.Besides being an internet expert and a founder of several startups, he has also been involved in fundraising for other startups.

Jérémy Fichet worked at notable companies, such as the French beverage maker Pernod & Ricard, daily deals website Groupon and marketing company LivingSocial. In 2013, he founded the Thai e-commerce website Cdiscount and helped with the IPO of its parent company.Armed with two master’s degrees, the intrepid entrepreneur became Moxy’s CEO in 2015. He is now the CEO of Orami, an e-commerce site created from the merger of Moxy and Bilna. Jérémy has a master’s in Marketing from ESC La Rochelle in France, and another in International Business Administration from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle ,UK.

The former senior executive of b5m.com has designed, developed and operated browser plug-ins. Wang Min led www.b5m.com’s growth to 5 million daily active users, while its e-commerce system also reached over 100 million visits daily.

Xue has served as product manager for VIP, an e-commerce platform dedicated to flash sales in China, and for China UnionPay, China’s largest bank card payment network.

E-commerce specialist Orlando Lopes held various positions at women’s accessories brand Parfois, before joining marketing and advertising agency BySide as an account manager. At BySide, he met Rui Costa, and the two eventually co-founded food delivery startup EatTasty.

Former co-founder of Nasdaq-listed eFuture Zou Hongjun helped built the supply chain IT systems of over 50% of China’s top 100 chain-store enterprises. The Chongqing University graduate also has years of experience in fresh food e-commerce.

Tenaya Capital was originally founded in 1995 as Lehman Brothers Venture Partners. They have so far made two investments into Indonesian companies: agritech e-commerce platform TaniHub, and “Uber-for-logistics” company Kargo Technologies. Tenaya typically invests in Series B and Series C rounds, although they have gone into Series A and later rounds as well. 

YI Capital was founded in 2014 by Chen Wenjiang and Li Muqing, both formerly of CDH Investments. YI Capital’s investment focuses are housing, finance, automotive, express delivery, e-commerce and lifestyle. It manages around RMB 2.5 billion in capital.

Welight Capital was founded by former senior executive at Tencent Wu Xiaoguang in 2015. The firm invests mainly in early-stage startups in the sectors of IoT, corporate services, finance, education, consumption upgrade, retail and e-commerce.

Informatics Engineering graduate Agus E Setiyono is no stranger to entrepreneurship. After graduating in 2013 from Universitas Negeri Malang, Indonesia, he worked for a year as a web designer for vKios, an online store development service. At the same time, he also managed his own clothing store and co-founded FLAT Studio, a digital creative agency. In 2016, he established Ngorder, a full suite of e-commerce management tools for online shop owners.

Former partner, Mount Venture Capital; vice president, Power Capital. The economics graduate from Jiangsu University is an avid backpacker and certified tour guide. A serial entrepreneur too (with previous startups in bicycle rental, education and training, e-commerce, F&B).

Headquartered in Murcia, Spain, Aurorial is part of e-commerce group PcComponentes. Aurorial focuses on Spanish-based startups at the seed capital stage, investing between €50,000 and €100,000 with other funds and experienced business angels.
