E-commerce specialist Orlando Lopes held various positions at women’s accessories brand Parfois, before joining marketing and advertising agency BySide as an account manager. At BySide, he met Rui Costa, and the two eventually co-founded food delivery startup EatTasty.

Cleosent Randing began his entrepreneurship journey after his graduation from Simon Fraser University in Canada. Founded in 2010 by Martin Hartono, son of Indonesia’s richest man Robert Budi Hartono, GDP Venture is a venture capital firm focused on digital communities, and media, commerce and solution companies in the Indonesian consumer internet industry.

Former co-founder of Nasdaq-listed eFuture Zou Hongjun helped built the supply chain IT systems of over 50% of China’s top 100 chain-store enterprises. The Chongqing University graduate also has years of experience in fresh food e-commerce.

Tenaya Capital was originally founded in 1995 as Lehman Brothers Venture Partners. In 2009, following Lehman's bankruptcy, Tenaya was spun off into an independent company, with HarbourVest Partners acquired their existing investments. Since then, Tenaya has invested in some major tech companies, including event ticketing company Eventbrite, early fashion e-commerce firm Zappos, and Uber competitor Lyft. They have so far made two investments into Indonesian companies: agritech e-commerce platform TaniHub, and “Uber-for-logistics” company Kargo Technologies. Tenaya typically invests in Series B and Series C rounds, although they have gone into Series A and later rounds as well. 

Arrive is the venture capital arm of Roc Nation, the full-service entertainment management company established by US musician Jay-Z. Aside from managing musicians and producing music under their label, Roc Nation also manages equity distribution for musicians, as well as talents in the sports industry. Arrive has made a number of investments in the Southeast Asia region, including in Singapore-based scooter rental startup Beam and fashion e-commerce Zilingo. In Indonesia, it has invested in Kopi Kenangan, a chain of grab-and-go coffee outlets. It has also invested in Super, a Y Combinator graduate startup enabling social commerce through group-buying.

YI Capital was founded in 2014 by Chen Wenjiang and Li Muqing, both formerly of CDH Investments. YI Capital’s investment focuses are housing, finance, automotive, express delivery, e-commerce and lifestyle. It manages around RMB 2.5 billion in capital.

Lara Vidreiro graduated in Business Management and Administration at the Catholic Lisbon School of Business and Economics in 2012. At the age of 21, she started her first business Style in a Box with co-founder and college friend Filipa Neto when they struggled to find dresses for a gala. In 2014, she pivoted her business model into a designer clothing rental platform Chic by Choice. She was named as one of Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe 2018: Retail and E-commerce. Vidreiro also joined A2D Consulting in Lisbon as e-commerce and digital senior consultant in November 2017.

Armed with a double degree in Engineering and Commerce from the University of New South Wales, Anthony Kosasih spent most of his professional life as a researcher at his alma mater University of New South Wales in Australia. Anthony worked as a business development executive of Virtunet.

Founded in 2010, Jumei is one of the world’s leading online cosmetics shopping platforms. With over 30 million registered users, Jumei’s monthly sales have exceeded RMB 600 million and it is now one of the fastest growing e-commerce companies in China.

Former senior executive of leading online travel e-commerce sites Elong.net, Yonyou.com, and more recently, 12580, China Mobile’s travel business unit, where he was general manager, in charge of up to 2,000 staff and billions (RMB) in sales. Sun is a graduate of Zhejiang University, trained in programming.

Armed with a bachelor’s in Automation from Central South University, Yang Luyu is a serial entrepreneur since 2005, whether in e-commerce, education, design and scrum. He was the product management director at eBaoTech, where he met Alex Zhu, who became his co-founder at Musical.ly.
