CDO and co-founder of Gestoos
Andrea Halfpap is a co-founder and design director of Gestoos, a gesture recognition startup. She had been part of the UX teams at Vodafone Global, Claro Partners and Carmeq GmbH, building her expertise around visual and interactive design for mobile and web applications.Halfpap graduated from the Cologne International School of Design and specialized in Visual Communication and Research at the University of Western Sydney.

Co-founder of AISpeech
In 2005, Lin graduated from the University of Cambridge with a master’s degree in Engineering. Upon graduating, he worked at the British Standards Institution as Chief Representative of China. In 2007, he co-founded AISpeech with Gao Shixing and Yu Kai. He created AISpeech’s oral English teaching business unit and focused on the development of speech assessment technology. In May 2014, AISpeech spun off the oral English teaching business unit into a new company called Chivox. Lin has served as founder and CEO of Chivox ever since.

After graduating in Business Administration at CUNEF in 2010, he studied English for a year in California, USA. His first entrepreneurial venture was in 2009 when he co-founded Deyese Soluciones (D+S), a company specializing in cost optimization. He then worked at Smartgroup Telecomunicaciones for almost two years before co-founding Billin in 2013. He has since attended various courses relating to Venture Capital, M&A and Financing Operations at IEB. He then specialized in web development at Ironhack.

Hugo Monteiro is a Portuguese IT Engineer from Universidade de Lisboa. The co-founder and VP Engineering of Spotahome was previously employed at Portugal Telecom and BNP Paribas. He has also worked for startups like UniPlaces in the real estate sector in Lisbon, Portugal.He connected with co-founder Bryan McEire when the latter moved from Spain to work in Lisbon. He was invited to join the Spotahome co-founding team when the proptech was revived by CEO Artacho on his return from London.

In 2013, he came up with an idea to design a smart shopping trolley for supermarkets but was unable to attract investors. Later, Nie formed a team to develop a grocery delivery app, which, due to few orders and high costs, failed in 2015. During this period, he helped Beijing Hualian Group, one of China's largest operators of supermarkets and department stores, draw up its O2O business strategy. In 2016, Nie founded Mars Rabbit.

He became a goalie coach for the Spanish National Lacrosse Team from 2014 until 2017. In 2015, he joined a two-year master’s degree and MBA program at IE Business School in Madrid, specializing in Big Data. In November 2017, he became the CTO and co-founder of ChainGo Tech SL.
