Reza Avesena is an experienced software engineer who took the leap into entrepreneurship when he came to Yogyakarta and joined a photobook printing company. In 2009, after graduating from Universitas Bina Nusantara with a bachelor's in informatics, he started his career as an analyst in Telkomsigma, a subsidiary of state-owned communications firm Telkom. In 2011, he joined Wincor Nixdorf as a software engineer. Between 2013 and 2016, he worked for IBM as an advisory specialist. In 2017, he became the CTO of ID Photobook, a Yogyakarta-based company that provided photo printing services. In 2018, together with ID Photobook founder Afrig Wasiso and entrepreneur Mardigu Wowiek Prasetyo, Avesena established a new business: equity crowdfunding platform Santara and is now its CEO.

Diana Almeida is an alumnus of the University of Porto in Networks and Information Systems and holds a postgraduate degree from the Porto Business School in Business Intelligence and Analytics. Her education culminated in her co-founding the company Movvo, for an analytical software used in the retail industry. Almeida also holds the position of university professor at the Instituto Universitário da Maia ISMAI in the fields of Software Engineering and Data Mining.

Born in 1982, Yi Binghong is a serial entrepreneur. He founded a software company INMES in 2008 and worked there as CEO until 2013.He joined XAG in 2013 as co-founder but left in October 2015 to set up an agritech company AIRAG Technology as CEO.

Zhongli Hecai Fund was set up by the Finance Bureau of Heping District of Shenyang City on behalf of the Heping District Government in April 2018. Triputra Group is an Indonesian conglomerate with businesses in agriculture, manufacturing, trading and mining. It also runs a pension fund and a charitable foundation. The conglomerate was founded in 1998 by Theodore Permadi Rachmat, the former CEO of the Astra Group. BraveGeneration is a Portuguese investment vehicle founded in 2015 for projects arising from the television series Shark Tank Portugal. South African entrepreneur Tim Vieira acts as its principal investor and mentor. The holding currently funds around 30 startups, both in tech and in other sectors. Consumers Trust is the first company it has invested in not to have appeared on the television show. 

Chrisna Aditya graduated with an Electrical Engineering degree in 2011 at Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia. He founded a mobile app development business and ran it for one year. In 2012, he joined fellow ITB alumnus Gibran Huzaifah to set up aquaculture startup PT Multidaya Teknologi Nusantara. The company later launched the eFishery automatic fish feeder system.

Sónia Lage Lourenço is the Portuguese co-founder, COO and Head of Customer Care at Consumers Trust, the company behind consumer complaints platform Portal da Queixa, where she has worked since 2015 alongside her husband and co-founder Pedro Lourenço. She previously worked for 15 years as Brand Manager at fashion brand Decenio. She lives in Porto.

Mitra Komunikasi Nusantara (MKN) is a public-listed company in Indonesia. With business interests in mobile communications, it is one of the largest distributors of Samsung and OPPO smartphones in Indonesia. Besides distributing products for one of Indonesia’s major mobile network operators Telkomsel, MKN also manages the GraPARI customer service centers. MKN was established by the founder of Kioson Roby Tan.

Based in Singapore, Antler is a venture capital firm that runs a global five-month venture building program. Aside from funding and company building, Antler matches founders and the talent they need prior to the start of the program. Antler's programs are run in Singapore, Stockholm, Sydney, Amsterdam and London. Antler was founded by former managing director of Zalora, Magnus Grimeland.

Diego Ballesteros is one of Spain's most prominent serial entrepreneurs and business angels, backing some of the most successful acquisitions in Spain and Latin America. He made his first disclosed investment in 2016, as an angel investor of Spanish femtech WOOM’s pre-seed and seed funding rounds. He is currently the sole founder of Bewe SaaS for beauty and wellness professionals.Ballesteros started his first enterprise in 1997, an online classified ads platform Ocioteca.com and also MundoSalud that was acquired by Sanitas of Bupa Group.  Cabify and co-investments with Seaya Ventures also form part of his investment portfolio. One of his biggest successes is on-demand food delivery platform SinDelantal with operations in Spain and Mexico. In 2013, the Spanish delivery company was acquired by Just Eat that later also bought the Mexican company in 2015.

Former CEO of Kuaidi Dache, which merged with Didi Dache in 2015 to become China’s most powerful taxi hailing app service and a top10 internet company in the country. Dexter Lv was formerly based in Silicon Valley, heading SK Telecom’s wireless products unit.

Johan Tahardi is one of the co-founders of MailTarget, a SaaS company that helps SMEs automate email-based marketing. He is also an angel investor and advisor to Infra Digital Nusantara, a new payment gateway that digitizes school fee and apartment bill payments.

Nikhil Kaushik is one of the three co-founders of a startup company and MIT spin-off, Graviky Labs, which he began together with Anirudh Sharma and Nitesh Kadyan. The company developed AIR-INK, an industrial and customer-grade ink made of upcycled carbon emissions that are captured and purified through patented proprietary technology.  At Graviky Labs, Kaushik heads its operations and finance, and formerly oversaw its supply chain and business relations.Kaushik is a qualified chartered accountant. Prior to Graviky Labs,  he worked in Ernst & Young managing tax advisory and compliance work for large Indian and international corporates.  Kaushik was named one of Foreign Policy magazine's 100 Global Thinkers in 2016 along with the other Graviky Labs co-founders.
