Ramiro Salamanca is a well-known Spanish lawyer. He holds a degree in Law from the Autonomous University of Madrid and an Executive Master's in Public Management from IE Business School.For more than eight years, Salamanca worked as a lawyer for the Community of Madrid, where he served the Ministry of Environment, Housing and Land Management; the Ministry of Culture and Sports and the Government Spokesman. He was director of legal advice to Madrid Metro from 2012 to 2015.Since 2016, he has acted as CLO of Reclamador.es, a web platform that manages and automates consumer claims.

Miguel Carvalho is a Portuguese entrepreneur and co-founder of FarmCloud, where he is partner and advisor. Since 2010, he has also been a partner at hosting platform startup CloudNode and at web development firm Multiweb since 1999.

Universidade Nova de Lisboa graduate João Caxaria is a seasoned software engineer, having developed software at Inosat, Checkfree, Focus Business Solution, Feel Fine Games, 6PM Holdings PLC and Infusion. Before co-founding Codacy, Caxaria co-founded web and mobile application development company Imaginary Cloud.

Bachtiar Rifai graduated in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in Physics from Universitas Gadjah Mada, but his career has led him towards entrepreneurial pursuits, especially in technology. While he was in university, he worked freelance as a web designer and SEO consultant, and in 2008, founded his own digital marketing company, Jogja Web Services, which was dedicated to helping SMEs. In 2012, he left Jogja Web Services, joined travel booking site Pegipegi – now owned by Traveloka – and founded a new digital marketing consultancy, WireHub.  In 2014, he joined Lazada and Blanja.com. In 2015, Rifai and his co-founders established Kofera, which offers automated digital marketing using AI. Kofera helps its clients efficiently connect various types of data, including sales and stock, on one platform, where the data can be accessed, processed and used to automatically guide ad spending. In 2018, Rifai spun off a new business from Kofera: Volantis, a company that applies Kofera's data-driven principles to more use cases and provides enterprise clients with end-to-end services.

Roful Zamal Santosa graduated from Universitas Komputer Indonesia in 2010 with a degree in Computer Engineering. After graduation, he started working as a coordinator at the Indonesian branch of Wirecard, an Internet payments platform. Roful is also a co-founder and CFO of IDCloudHost, Indonesia’s first SSD-based web hosting service.

Sutan Imam Abu Hanifah started his first company immediately after graduating with a bachelor’s in Information Systems from Indonesia’s Universitas Bina Nusantara (Binus). In 2015, he established Binary Art, an app development agency, with university batchmate Indri Hardianti. The following year, the two established Periksa.id, a web-based hospital management platform.

Guritno Adi Saputra graduated from Institut Sains & Teknologi AKPRIND, Indonesia with a bachelor's in Information Technology. Between 2013 and 2015, he was a web developer at Yogyakarta technology consultancy firm IndonesiaJogja Info Service and INDigital. Guritno is co-founder and CTO of digital signature startup PrivyID.

New York City’s largest accelerator program, founded in 2011, provides each accepted company with an initial $100,000 investment and the potential for follow-on funding from its fund. The accelerator also provides up to $120,000 of Azure benefits for two years from Microsoft, plus $100,000 in webhosting credits from Amazon Web Services and $100,000 from Google Cloud Platform, among other benefits. Its four-month program provides access to the largest mentor network in New York. It has accelerated and invested in more than 200 companies to date across sectors and makes diversity investments. Selected companies have a US market ambition. Its most recent cohorts include Portuguese VR gaming and cognitive training software Virtuleap, and online tire retailer Tire Agent. 

With more than 15 years of experience in web app development, Riza Fahmi is Chief Evangelist and co-founder of programming academy and web development bootcamp, Hacktiv8. After earning a bachelor's in Information Technology from Universitas Bina Nusantara in 2003, he worked as a programmer for PT Ainet Indonesia, developing systems like SMS alerts and school administration platforms. In 2007, he left PT Ainet Indonesia and worked for various companies, including news portal Okezone. From 2013 to 2015, he worked as a developer at edtech platform HarukaEDU and, from 2015 to 2016, he was CTO of Citizen Lab, a Belgian SaaS platform for smart cities to get feedback from the public. He returned to Indonesia in 2016 and co-founded Hacktiv8 with Ronald Ishak. He also has a master's in Information Technology from Universitas Indonesia.

Michael Ocansey graduated in accounting and IT from Regent University of Science and Technology in Dansoman, Ghana. From 2005 to 2010, Ocansey worked as a lead web developer at Ghanaian digital development agency Esoko in Accra, where he met business development executive Francis Obirikorang. Ocansey also worked as a contract web developer for software developer Origo in San Diego for two years until 2013.In 2015, Ocansey and Obirikorang co-founded Swappaholics Holdings in British Virgin Islands. He worked for one year as CTO for the online marketplace that allows users to “barter” or exchange products, skills and services.In January 2016, Ocansey and Obirikorang established AgroCenta (Holdings) Limited in Mauritius. The agritech startup set up its first office in Accra to provide an e-commerce platform, supply-chain and fintech services to smallholder farmers in Ghana.

A master’s graduate in Informatics and Computing Engineering from the University of Porto, Tiago Matos was a web developer for Nokia, with experience in software quality assurance at Wipro Technologies. Matos co-founded Jumpseller and currently lives in Chile, where Jumpseller is the platform most widely used by small and medium businesses for creating e-stores.

Pablo Manuel Vidarte Gordillo is the co-founder and CEO of Arkyne Technologies. Graduating in 2018, the Multimedia Engineering student at Universidad Ramón Llull (La Salle University BCN) in Barcelona was named as one of the most promising young people in Forbes 30u30 Europe in 2017. Vidarte is an energetic serial entrepreneur and has won several awards for his endeavors. Besides co-founding Bioo and Geoo, he also founded AI and video game software Aioo. He was also a speaker at the 2017 South Summit.

Julio Pernía Aznar is a Spanish telecommunication engineer. He started his career as a programmer in CERN and later consulted for big companies like Altran, Telefonica and AENA in a European Commission project. In 2006, he founded his first company, Noaris, specialized in SaaS and cloud computing for insurance companies. He was managing director of Noaris until 2017 when he co-founded Bdeo, a video intelligence platform for underwriting and claims process. Bdeo won the "Most Innovative Product" award in the Insurtech and Fintech categories at the South Summit in Madrid in 2018.

While majoring in Computer Science at the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE), Hugo Silva co-founded Unbabel, where he is a full stack developer and now works full-time. Before college, Silva had worked as a web developer at various companies, including Dezine, which was co-founded by fellow Unbabel co-founder Vasco Pedro, Streetdog Studio and Bomsite. 

Yanuar Wibisono is a highly experienced coder. He has worked as a software engineer and as a web developer for many companies, including high-profile ones like Monsanto, Quora and Wolfram Research. Yanuar graduated in 2013 with a bachelor’s in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. He is the co-founder and CTO of PT Rekruta Amarta Talenta, also known as Rekruta.com.
