John Carbajal is a co-founder and CTO of Kantox, a foreign currency exchange management platform. He is currently based in Barcelona. Carbajal is a software engineer by profession, having previously worked at Intel in the US and HP in Spain and later as Vice President of Engineering at Digital Vision. Prior to Kantox, he set up Fotocodex, a self-publishing service. Carbajal holds an MBA from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business and a first degree in Physics from Reed College, Oregon. 

Pilar Troncoso is an entrepreneur with 12 years of experience in business, mergers and acquisitions at international accounting firm PwC. She also specializes in marketing, promotions, design and development of new ventures. She is passionate about digital innovations, such as the use of blockchain in consumer-oriented businesses and other industries. In 2016, she became the Senior VP of multi-device blockchain platform Nodalblock and also joined ChainGo as co-founder and advisor.

After graduating from Nanjing University in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management, Wu worked for a number of e-commerce firms. He was vice president at VANCL, senior vice president at JD.com and general consultant at lefeng.com. Wu, an original co-founder, left Luoji Siwei in 2013. He moved on from Luoji Siwei to serve as general consultant at media firm Fleet Entertainment. Wu founded Context Lab, a corporate services platform, in 2015. He is also the author of three popular business insight books.

Ferry Aprilianto has over 17 years of experience as an IT engineer. From 2000 to 2005, he was a project manager at enterprise IT firm Jatis Solutions, where he worked on mutual fund distribution systems for major Indonesian banks. In 2005, he became an independent IT consultant, working for companies in Indonesia and the Philippines. In 2013, he joined the company that developed Bank Mandiri's e-cash system, Digital Artha Media, as an IT architect. Ferry graduated from the University of Indonesia with a bachelor's in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Han used to be in charge of marketing at car services provider Autohome. In 2009, she joined designer menswear e-retailer Masa Maso as its marketing director. In 2012, Han became CMO of online cosmetics retailer Lefeng.com. Several months later, she and her husband co-founded Wolonge.com, an online community for employees to write reviews about their employers. By late 2012, the website had over 1 million users, but it ultimately failed. In March 2016, Han founded Huajuan Mall.

Rosa López-Monis is a well-known nutrition, food safety and health specialist in southern Spain. She also holds a master's in Nutrition and Dietetics and a master's in Clinical Analysis. She has published health and nutrition books like Green Detox. Since 2007, the molecular biologist and microscopist has been running her own e-commerce site  for Health, Wellness and Fitness Más que Dietas. She joined NutraSign as COO in 2018, applying her food safety knowledge to the company's traceability processes and digital applications.

Christophe de Kalbermatten is the Swiss-born co-founder of Tonic App for medical doctors, which he co-founded in 2016 after meeting the co-founding team on an MBA course at IE Business School in Madrid. He has worked at Credit Suisse for more than 12 years in various capacities related to foreign exchange and is currently the head of its Geneva Trading Floor. Prior to starting work, he gained a BSc at the University of Lausanne's Faculty of Business and Economics in Switzerland. 

Mahar Indra spent more than 10 years as a representative of a brokerage company before setting out to be an entrepreneur. His first venture, launched in 2011, was Sirtanio, which sells locally grown organic rice. He exited the company in 2015 to focus on the derivatives trading academy he established in 2011. In 2018, continuing on his mission to help rookie investors trade safely and avoid scams, he established Portofolio, a platform where aspiring currency traders can learn from experienced traders and even copy their trades.

Before joining Blackfish as co-founder and president in 2017, Yang was the CFO of online travel site Tuniu, which he helped get listed on NASDAQ in 2014. Prior to that, from 2010–2012, he was CFO of e-commerce platform Dangdang and from 2007–2010 he was CFO of Air Media Group Inc. Yang led both companies' IPOs in the US. He received his bachelor's in Food Science from Fu Jen Catholic University and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles. 

Handison Jaya graduated from Universitas Indonesia with a bachelor's in Computer Engineering. After graduating in 2015, he joined Bornevia, a now-defunct startup that created an email-focused CRM system for corporates. He left Bornevia in 2016 and joined Ematic, another email-based marketing service startup. He stayed at Ematic for almost three years and became a senior software engineer.In 2019, Handison left Ematic with work colleague Stevanus Iskandar Halim to develop an equity crowdfunding platform. Together with Halim's university acquaintance James Wiryadi, they co-founded CrowdDana.

Philip Effendy is the VP of operations at solar power startup Xurya. Prior to establishing the company with Gusmantara Himawan and Edwin Widjonarko, he was an investment associate at early-stage venture capital firm East Ventures, where he handled deal sourcing and portfolio management tasks. He also had a one year stint in the global operations of Disney ABC Television after completing his education in the USA.Effendy graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor in Business Administration, specializing in Management and Operations.

Indonesia’s most prominent young social entrepreneur Aldi Haryopratomo was in the Harvard Business School class of 2011, where his peers included Go-Jek founder Nadiem Makarim and Grab founders Anthony Tan and Tan Hooi Ling.Aldi began his career as a security consultant for Ernst & Young. After a one-year stint at the Boston Consulting Group, Aldi worked with Sean Dewitt and Budiman Wikarsa from the Grameen Foundation to develop Ruma, a business-in-a-box startup for low-income Indonesians in 2009. Ruma launched the “Arisan Mapan” group-buying app in 2014.Aldi also holds a Computer Engineering degree from Purdue University. He was selected as a Young Global Leader in the 2012 World Economic Forum.

Nayoko Wicaksono graduated at the University of British Columbia in 2007 and had worked at prestigious companies such as Morneau Shepell, Rocket Internet and Emtek. He left Emtek in 2014 and started the on-demand household services startup Seekmi a year later. However, he decided to step down as CEO in 2016 to become the chairman of Seekmi.                                   He later became a venture partner at Plug and Play Indonesia and has also invested in Turkey’s motorbike transport app Scotty in 2017. He is also a director and co-founder of data science education center Algoritma that helps students gain employable skills.

Hossein Jalali is the Iranian CTO and co-founder of Virtuleap, a Portugal-based cognition training and assessment VR startup, where he has worked since 2018. He was also simultaneously co-founder at Lisbon-based fitness search and discovery startup Flexpass, which was acquired by Urban Sports in 2018.He was previously co-founder at Dubai-based gaming startup Gameguise, the publishing arm of Edoramedia. Before this, Jalali spent six years as Head of Online at Dubai-based satellite TV company Al Aan. He holds an MBA in Business and Finance from the American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates and a bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Azad University in Tehran, Iran.

Alejandro Wonenburger García came up with the idea for Plant on Demand (POD) during a research project for his joint master’s degree studies in Finland and the Netherlands.He specialized in International Business at SeAMK (Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences) in western Finland from 2013–17. He was based in the Netherlands during 2015–16 to read Strategic Management and International Business Management at Fontys Venlo University of Applied Sciences in Limburg. He speaks six European languages including Dutch.Since 2018, the Spanish co-founder of POD has taken on the roles of project coordinator and chief commercial officer. The POD agrifood marketplace and online management platform is specially designed for the needs of small-scale farmers.
