Julio Díaz Hernández worked as an electrical engineer for Spain's ITP group for two years before joining aerospace manufacturer ITD in 2001. He became ITD's head of systems design business unit based at Getafe before leaving in 2015 to become the co-founder and CEO of Unmanned Technical Works (UTW).The MBA postgrad, mechanical engineering and industrial electronics alumnus from Madrid's Polytechnic University also co-founded Aventix as CEO.  Aventix provides personalized engineering services to UTW and other clients in the aerospace, ICT, railway, automotive and energy sectors.

Guillem Ysàs Miralles holds a degree in Computer Science from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and is currently lead programmer for the Atomian cognitive core technology. He was one of the developers of the Atomian (product) architecture and the Atomian Modeling Language (AML). He is also lead programmer for Atomian's medical products and is responsible for Atomian's ETL software. He previously worked as analyst and web developer at Elecnor and Teytel, as a first level operator in NextReT and as a Specialist in B. Braun Medical. 

Javier de Oca co-founded IOMED Medical Solutions, which facilitates data extraction from electronic health records, which he heads as CEO since 2016. He is also a mentor at the LEILAT Technological Center, a sustainability research institution. Prior to IOMED, de Oca was Area Manager for Africa for Adams Foods and, before that, in product management for Nutrexpa, the makers of Cola Cao.He completed a bachelor’s in Business Administration at Barcelona’s ESADE business school, with work experience in El Salvador during this time.

Mariel Diaz Castro is Co-founder and CEO at Triditive, an additive manufacturing technology startup founded in 2016. A Colombian national and mechanical and industrial engineer, Diaz studied at the University of Oviedo prior to launching Triditive. Diaz also lectures in additive manufacturing at industrial engineering school COGITIPA, and is a European Commission Expert in Additive Manufacturing and Advanced Manufacturing Technologies. She has been a teacher of creative 3D printing at the University of Oviedo and worked at American 3D print designer Shapeways. Diaz speaks English, Chinese and Spanish. 

From 1997 to 2001, Li Guibin finished his undergraduate studies at the Harbin Institute of Technology.In November 2004, he went to work at Alibaba as R&D manager on wireless technology for its sub-brands including Yahoo China, Koubei.com, Taobao.com and Fliggy.com.He left Alibaba in July 2014 and co-founded neighborhood social app Youlin with ex-Alibaba colleague Yang Renbin. They went on to set up edtech platform Intelligent Learning in January 2018, with Li as CTO and Yang as CEO.

She Wei graduated from Tsinghua University with a master's in Computer Science in 2006 and has since worked for IBM, CDL and HP Labs China. He joined Miaozhen Systems at the end of 2011, where he developed a series of B2B products for brands and advertisers. She joined MININGLAMP Technology as co-founder and CTO in 2013; led development of DataInsight (MININGLAMP's data mining platform); and headed the algorithm team, which served clients in the sectors of finance, homeland security and manufacture. A serial entrepreneur, he co-founded game media platform Ye Zizhu in 2003.

Lewis Dunnigan is a researcher turned entrepreneur based in Australia. After earning a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and working as a researcher at the University of Edinburgh in the UK, Dunnigan returned to Australia. He had a brief stint as a visiting researcher and earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Adelaide.During his PhD, Dunnigan was a part of Philip Kwong’s research laboratory. His PhD project involved developing a system to generate activated charcoal and renewable energy from biomass. In 2017, Dunnigan, Kwong, and fellow PhD student Ben Morton decided to commercialize this technology and established a spin-off company called Bygen, which developed a low-cost, novel way to make activated carbon more sustainably using various forms of agricultural waste. Dunnigan is now the CEO of Bygen.

Yan Feng holds a master's degree in Computer Science from the China Ship Research and Development Academy. He also has an EMBA from Peking University. Yan worked at Hanvon Technology before co-founding CloudYoung as CTO in 2013.

An ex-Rocket Internet’s Lazada Indonesia manager, Riky Tenggara is pursuing his lifelong dream to be his own boss. The graduate in Information Technology at Edith Cowan University in Western Australia is no stranger to the startup industry.Riky was previously a business development manager and the head of sourcing at Lazada before joining aCommerce as a senior product manager. He started out as an internal auditor at Indofood and later became a business strategy analyst. Both roles gave him a sound business foundation with insider knowledge on the operations and management of companies in different industries.

Mohammad Ridwan Agustiawan is an experienced software developer and self-professed gamer. He graduated from RWTH Aachen University in Germany, with a master’s in Informatics. He worked there as a research assistant between 2007 and 2009 before returning to Indonesia. He worked as a programmer and product manager in various companies such as Indonesian adtech startup SITTI, before joining digital marketing agency Kana Cipta Media where he still works as acting manager of its technical department. He is also a co-founder and CTO of Sonar, a digital media analytics platform.

A World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, Rebeca Minguela founded Blink, a hotel booking app that was acquired by Groupon, and Clarity.AI, a SaaS optimizing the social impact of investments. She holds an engineering degree from UPM (Technical University of Madrid) Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación, and a master’s in Information Technology from the University of Stuttgart. After working at IBM, Siemens, the German Space Agency and BCG, she won a scholarship to pursue an MBA at Harvard Business School. She later led Santander Bank’s Global Digital Transformation Program. She was born in 1981 in Valladolid, Spain.

Meng Taiqi, also known as Meng Hongbing, is a serial entrepreneur. Prior to founding SoundEMS in 2017, he founded HLZEN, an O2O local services platform, and KZtour, an online travel site, in 2013. Both of the websites are currently out of service. Meng once worked as a project manager at Bobocorn, a Beijing-based company that sells popcorn and pre-movie advertisements to movie theaters. Meng received his bachelor's in Product Design Innovation from the Institute of Technology, Carlow.

Li studied Human Computer Interaction as an undergrad at Shandong University and later as a graduate student at Université Paris Sud, EIT ICT LABS Master School and Technische Universität Berlin. His first startup taught children English using one-on-one teaching methods and his second helped international students studying in France settle in. Before finishing his graduate studies, Li recognized the potential of a startup that teaches children coding. In 2014, he left his graduate program, giving up three master's degrees, to start Codemao with his classmate and business partner Sun Yue.

Bao holds two bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Communications Engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago. He worked as an associate at Morgan Stanley's Global Capital Markets business unit from 2011 to 2015. Bao then worked as an investment associate at Chinese group buying website Meituan-Dianping from 2015 to 2016 and at Legend Capital from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, he co-founded Huajuan Mall and has since served as head of strategy.

José Antonio Molina Rodríguez is a co-founder of AEInnova and was responsible for the development of its first thermoelectric mechanical technology. He has designed more than 100 different machines and mechanical components for multiple industrial applications, including several plants for the manufacture of gypsum plaster. Antonio received the maximum score in a first year program using the finite element method (FEM) for calculations. He also won the PIMEC award for business innovation and internationalization strategy for Catalan SMEs in 2006. He graduated in Mechanics and Technical, Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
