A former business analyst and adviser to the Bank of Portugal, Sérgio Vieira obtained his MBA from the University Institute of Lisbon. He gained experience in business at consultancy firm Roland Berger and in logistics as a controller at Adicional Logistics. Currently CEO of 360imprimir, a printing B2B online store he co-founded in 2013, he was an assistant professor at the University Institute of Lisbon, where he lectured in Management Accounting and Management Control, for almost seven years. Ramkumar Nair graduated in biotechnology at the Cochin University of Science and Technology in Kerala before going to Sweden for postgrad studies in 2013.During his PhD in industrial biotechnology at the University of Borås, he embarked on a research project to create fungi-based proteins from discarded sidestreams generated by food producers. After extensive research in 2017, he founded Mycorena in Gothenburg to produce mycoproteins using fermentation technology.The startup’s first commercial product, Promyc, is now being sold to global food companies as a more sustainable and nutritional alt-protein compared to traditional plant-based proteins.

David Dieteren Ribeiro had aspired to become a professional underwater welder, but as fate would have it, he was exposed to the world of electronics and would go on to pursue an education in the field, culminating in a master’s in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University of Aveiro. Dieteren has since used his knowledge to co-found two companies, Findster Technologies, a dual pet tracker and fitness tech, and SWORD Health, the first remote physiotherapy tech. Dieteren currently lives in the Netherlands where he works as Process Control Engineer for Sitech Services.

Cleosent Randing began his entrepreneurship journey after his graduation from Simon Fraser University in Canada. He read degrees in Business Administration and Economics in 2009.Besides Valuklik and Pinnacle, Cleosent also owns and runs two other ventures. He is a director of NuGlobe Solutions, a call center outsourcing company that he founded in 2010. He is also operating an e-commerce website for insurance products named PasarPolis.com that he recently set up in October 2015.Since April 2016, Cleosent has been an active member and director of the Indonesia Canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC). He is also a director of the Canadian Alumni in Indonesia (Calindo).

Geek meets chic in Farfetch founder and serial entrepreneur José Neves, who first learnt to code when he was eight years old. The economics graduate from the University of Porto launched his first business, software company Grey Matter, while in college. It was then that Neves started learning about the fashion industry, through building operating systems for footwear and textile business clients. He also designed shoes under the brand Swear, and after moving to the UK, Neves opened the brand’s physical store before moving to launch a menswear shop called B Store. He is currently CEO of Farfetch, the non-executive director at the British Fashion Council and the non-executive chairman at PLATFORME International.
