Dr Oscar García-Esquirol is the Chief Medical Officer and co-founder of Mediktor, where he has also worked earlier as a machine trainer and digital doctor. He is currently also a director at the Barcelona Health Hub that promotes local digital healthtechs from its 2,500-sq m base at Barcelona's UNESCO-protected Modernist hospital, Hospital Sant Pau.Since 2000, he has been working as a critical care physician at Hospital Moisès Broggi in Spain. Winner of the 2016 EU Prize for Women Innovators, Portuguese national Susana Sargento has been a professor at the University of Aveiro for almost 16 years. She received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the same university. Her main research interests are self-organized networks, e.g., routing, mobility, delay-tolerant mechanisms and content distribution networks, in ad-hoc and vehicular mechanisms and protocols. In 2012, she co-founded Veniam, a tech startup for connected and autonomous vehicles, where she also worked in engineering and corporate research from 2012 until 2014. She advises the European Commission in her areas of expertise.

In June 2018, she moved to Paris as co-founder of Next Station, an online recruiting platform for international talent.

Shadow Chi graduated with a bachelor's degree in design from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2008 and received his master‘s degree in computer-aided design from Tongji University in 2013. He specializes in innovative product design and development, and has worked at ZTE Corporation, China Merchants Bank, and ARKIE as product architect and designer. He founded online community MixLab in 2016 and has built it into an interdisciplinary hub for more than 35,000 designers and programmers. After co-founding Get.AI in 2018, he has served as its AI Product Architect.

He won the first prize in a competition presenting an app to treat mental illness like phobias. The project led him to co-found Psious in 2014, taking on the role of CBDO. Roig was been responsible for the expansion and innovation strategy of Psious, leading the business development unit until April 2017 when he left the company.Based in Barcelona, he is now the sales manager at Supertronic SA. He had previously worked for Supertronic for two years until 2007 while still at university. He had also worked as webmaster for Redfactory SL for five years prior to joining Supertronic in 2005.

Prior to HumanITcare, Sanchez worked as Data Scientist in a joint-project between the Spanish insurance company Catalana Occidente and technology consultancy Raona to develop a sales collaborative platform. He has also worked on projects in software development, mobile apps, server and hardware as well as prototyping for IoT devices in the fields of education, health and wellness.
