Mario Fernández Marín is Co-founder of railway consultancy firm SigmaRail and is also its product manager. From 2004 to 2008, Fernández undertook internships at several Spanish and French enterprises including Unión Fenosa, Dusco-SesameTV, Groupe Assonance and IRCICA. He was a research engineer at the Polytechnic University of Madrid before joining Airbus in 2009, where he working at both its Paris and Madrid operations. Shen Peng had first tried founding a startup while studying finance at Beijing's Central University of Finance and Economics from 2006 to 2010. In 2009, he joined Meituan – now known as Meituan Dianping – as its tenth employee. At the age of 23, he was in charge of Meituan's group buying business in north China. Shen was also a key player when Meituan expanded into the food delivery business. He received his master's degree in retail management from the Neoma Business School through a partnership with the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing. He founded Waterdrop in 2016 and has served as its CEO since.

Olivier Clatz is the French co-founder of AI medical diagnosis company Therapixel, creator of MammoScreen breast cancer screening and diagnosis tool. Prior to co-founding Therapixel, Clatz worked for six years as a research scientist at INRIA (National Institute for Research in Digital Science and Technology) based at the Sophia Antipolis technology park near Antibes, in the south of France. His later work with INRIA focused on exploiting machine learning algorithms for medical imaging processing. Prior to this, he was a research associate at Harvard Medical School, in the US. In 2006, he completed his PhD at INRIA on the concept of personalized medicine. Clatz also holds a PhD in philosophy from the Ecole des Mines de Paris, and a master's degree in applied mathematics from the Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay. Currently, he works at the French Government’s Commissariat Générale pour l’Investissement managing the national program AI For Diagnostics. He left Therapixel in 2019.

In 2019, he was honored as one of China's 100 Most Creative People in Business. He is also a member of the Synthetic Biology Committee under China Society of Biotechnology.Peking University has participated in the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competitions, with Zhang as a team member or leader between 2008 and 2010. The team has won gold medals twice at the iGEM competitions supported by MIT. He was also coaching the university’s iGEM team from 2011 until 2017. Zhang also founded the committee of China iGEMer Community.In 2010, Zhang met fellow iGEMer and Bluepha co-founder Li Teng at the iGEM giant jamboree event. They co-founded SynBio startup Bluepha in 2016, a spin-off from Tsinghua University.

During her search around dairy farms in Asia, she realized that the poor quality of the milk was due to animal hygiene issues and the use of antibiotics and hormones on cows. The lack of quality dairy milk options inspired her to co-found TurtleTree Labs in January 2019 to create milk using stem cells.Lin graduated in information systems management and marketing in 2011 at Singapore Management University (SMU). In 2011, she joined Collis Asia as an account manager and left in 2014 to work at Salesforce in sales and business development. She joined Google Singapore in 2018 and worked as a territory account manager for Google Cloud Platform until June 2019. In 2020, she completed an MIT course in the science and business of biotechnology.
