Miguel Arias received an MSc in Civil Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2002 and an MBA from IE Business School in 2005. He has served as global entrepreneurship director at Telefónica since 2018.Arias began his career as an engineer. CEO and co-founder of Digitanimal by SensoWave
Carlos Callejero is co-founder and CEO at Spanish IoT and data startup SensoWave, as well as its brand Digitanimal, aimed at remote farming, where he has worked full-time since 2014. Prior to this, Callejero established one of Spain's first sensor tech companies, co-founding Alfa Imaging in 2006 and working there as Technical Manager until its closure in 2014. The company produced body scanners updated periscopes for Spanish submarines and autonomous sensors to protect borders and infrastructure, leading to Callejero becoming one of Spain's IoT pioneers. Callejero holds a first degree in physics from the University of Zaragoza, an MSc in Applied Modern Optics from Reading University (UK) and a PhD in Millimeter Waves from the same institution. These latter studies led to his work with sensors with Spain's Army Research Laboratory upon his return to Spain. He also briefly worked at telecom company Telefonica as an optical engineer.

WA4STEAM is a not-for-profit organization that provides seed capital with an investment focus on supporting women with projects and ideas applicable to STEAM sectors (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts/Architecture and Mathematics).The association is composed of women with backgrounds and experiences in biosciences, mathematics, finance, engineering, law, accounting and coaching. It offers significant support to the founders during the early stages of the startup cycle.WA4STEAM cooperates with a network of co-investors, VC funds, family offices, accelerators and incubators. It also collaborates with university associations and science and technology parks that back and leverage the portfolio of companies.

Co-founder and CRO of Factorial
Bernat Farrero is a co-founder and Head of Corporate Affairs and Corporate Revenue Officer at Spanish human resource startup Factorial. He is also the Founder and CEO of Itnig, a venture builder based in Barcelona, the founder and chairman of Quipu, an account management platform and Camaloon, which offers online designing and printing of commercial products. Mariel Diaz Castro is Co-founder and CEO at Triditive, an additive manufacturing technology startup founded in 2016. A Colombian national and mechanical and industrial engineer, Diaz studied at the University of Oviedo prior to launching Triditive. Diaz also lectures in additive manufacturing at industrial engineering school COGITIPA, and is a European Commission Expert in Additive Manufacturing and Advanced Manufacturing Technologies. She has been a teacher of creative 3D printing at the University of Oviedo and worked at American 3D print designer Shapeways. Diaz speaks English, Chinese and Spanish.

Clara Hardy is GM and co-founder of Spanish bioplastics startup Oimo. She has worked there since 1Q19 and her duties include fundraising, marcom, stakeholder relations and business intelligence. This is her first major position. She was previously an intern at several large organizations, including the Walt Disney Company where she worked in digital marketing for a year. Hardy also spent several months as Digital Marketing Manager at Nexus Training and Mobility. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Marketing from London’s Brunel University.

Sergio Sanchez is the CTO and co-founder of Widuid that was later re-branded as Polaroo, a Spanish household bill management app. He spent eight months working on building the MVP with the Rovira brothers in 2017.The mechanical engineer also completed a master's in Automatic Control and Robotics at his alma mater, the Polytechnic Degree of Barcelona. Like fellow co-founder Marc Rovira, Sanchez was also at space tech startup Zero2Infinity working as a full stack developer and HMI engineer. He has also worked in biotech company Fungitech Global as a mechanical engineer.

The topic became her focus of study when she enrolled at the Stanford Graduate School of Business’ MBA program as a Fulbright scholar. After earning her MBA, she and fellow Stanford alumnus Anderson Sumarli established online investment advisory startup Ajaib.
