He has also worked for startups like UniPlaces in the real estate sector in Lisbon, Portugal.He connected with co-founder Bryan McEire when the latter moved from Spain to work in Lisbon. After graduating, he worked as a developer at telecom equipment maker Huawei from 2008 to 2015. In 2012, Zhao created yunweipai.com, China's first nonprofit online community to provide IT maintenance advice. In 2015, he resigned from Huawei and launched Makebang, a software crowdsourcing platform. Recognizing the limited growth potential of the industry, Zhao sold Makebang in 2017. In 2017, he co-founded Tiantian Xuenong with Yan Zitong, a friend from university, and became its CEO.

Leonard Cremer is an engineering graduate from the University of Johannesburg. He worked as an analyst programmer before moving into the finance industry. Then in 2001, he co-founded Integrat in South Africa, a mobile media enabler for Mobile Network Operator. He is now the Group COO at Integrat Pty Ltd. Cremer was also the COO of InTarget from 2001 until 2016. Through business trips, he met up with co-founder Dennis Vilovic who broached the idea of starting a group travel planning platform. In 2017, they co-founded TroopTravel to make global travel planning more efficient for corporates.
