Edgar Jorba is CEO and co-founder at Aimentia, which runs the first AI-powered cloud-based virtual clinic for mental health patients. He has been based in Spain since 2018. Jorba previously worked in mental health research for more than two years in Spain and in France. Seeing the need for digitalization and improvement in mental health assessments and long wait times experienced by patients gave him the inspiration to start Aimentia.Jorba is currently studying for a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications technologies and services engineering at the Open University of Catalonia. With 12 years of experience in the petro-maritime, scientific research and underwater mining prospection sectors, Torgersen also holds a Class 1 navigation license and has been a captain in the Merchant Navy in Singapore. Inspired by the potential of small submarine robots borne from his professional experience and passion for diving, Torgersen established Nido Robotics, where he is currently chairman and CEO.

Kang Hongwen earned his doctoral degree in Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University from August 2006 to December 2012. Prior to that, he was a research intern for more than a year at Microsoft Research Asia, during which time he worked on video content analysis, video synthesis, and was part of a team that was awarded a US patent for spacetime montage. An algorithm he worked on was shipped into the Windows XP Media Center Edition. Kang subsequently interned at Intel Research Seattle and Microsoft Research Redmond. In December 2013, he founded Hunch.ai, the company that created the AI-based, cloud video platform Zen Video.

Since 2005 he is teaching assistant and lecturer at the Computer Science Department of the Autonomous University of Barcelona.Rossinyol also joined entrepreneurship programs in digital humanities and automatic reading systems, which, in 2019, led him to co-found AllRead MLT, a deep-tech startup that converts text, symbols and codes to Big Data using computer vision technology, character recognition and machine learning. His interests also include deep learning, data science, reading systems, information retrieval and performance evaluation.

She returned to Indonesia and worked as a corporate development officer for over three years. He has more than 50 patents and over 20 papers published in academic journals such as TKDE and CIKM. Feng is a founding member of Miaozhen Systems and co-founder of MINING LAMP technology.
