Yangtze Delta Region Institute of Tsinghua University, Zhejiang
Yangtze Delta Region Research Institute of Tsinghua University, Zhejiang was co-founded by the provincial government of Zhejiang and Tsinghua University in 2003 for tech transfer. It has set up over 50 R&D platforms in the areas of life sciences, digital creativity, information technology and ecological environment and 11 offshore incubators in the US, UK, Germany and Australia. The institute manages over RMB 7.5bn of assets and also makes investments through its sub-funds with a total size of more than RMB 10bn. So far, it has incubated and invested in over 2,500 companies, 35 of whom have gone public or been acquired by listed companies.

In 2014, Pau Sendra graduated in Aeronautical Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), where he worked as a research assistant for one academic year. He studied for one year at the Aeronautical Business School ITAérea in 2012, working there for almost two years until June 2014. He holds a private pilot license from the European Aviation Safety Agency.The 20-year old Sendra brainstormed the idea of surprise citybreaks “Wayna” while on holiday with two friends in 2013. He then worked as the CEO of Promober in Valencia for 10 years until 2014.One day, after waiting four hours for a delivery, he came up with the idea of a service that would extricate everyone from such unnecessary and unpleasant experiences. In 2015, he founded Citibox that won several awards including one from the Spanish Centre of Logistics CEL in 2017.

She worked at a local radio station while reading an Advertising and Public Relations degree at Universidad CEU San Pablo in Madrid. After graduation in 2004, she embarked on a career in marketing and social media, becoming the Director of Communications for the Spanish Twitter or Tweet Awards in 2011. She also created one of Spain’s oldest Instagram community “Instagramers Comunitat Valenciana”. In 2014, García co-founded Influencity and became its CMO, managing brand communication and digital strategies for “Influencers” worldwide.
